I am hoping to be back on all dailies including health and fitness, of course mom care, dog care, garden work, seed starting, design of garden weeklies, monthlies, dailies and room by rooms, dinner each evening - nothing fancy needed, continued bread making for the year
my main, first hope, is to declutter.

dd's stuff has taken over her room -

going back to 5 minute pick up and put away in each room

front hall,
powder room
dining room
front room where mom lives for now
kitchen and cabinets
laundry room
garage
bedroom - dh's bedroom and bath and dressing area bc it is horrible
2 other bedrooms
the hall bathroom
basement
closets
yard: zones 1 - 7

outdoor time
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Well, hello! And thanks for opening things up, blessed! Where do you suppose everyone is?

How wonderful, blessed, that you were able to make a little birthday party for your helper!

Harriet, I will have to add sweet potatoes to my grocery list. Sorry about your nursery.

I am hoping to have a better day today than I did the last two. Tuesday's running around wore me out, and yesterday, I just got discombobulated. I had broccoli cheese soup planned. We had to stop by the store for milk and a few other non-soup related things, and I got started on the soup after lunch -- except I couldn't find the broccoli! That really put me out, as I didn't want to run to the store again, but we're scraping the bottom of the barrel here grocery-wise. I decided we could have mac and cheese for dinner. I don't remember what DH went down to the freezer for, but he found the broccoli, but by that time it was too late to start the soup, so we will have it today. I need to figure out something light for lunch -- it seems cheese really racks up the points WW-wise. Maybe a salad with some pre-grilled chicken. That should help with protein and fiber.

I also fell out of my cards the last couple of days, so I need to get back in. And I need to finish up that grocery list so we don't have to resort to pizza tomorrow.

Maybe I will be back later to give an account of progress, but when do I ever? Have a great day!

Hi!

Compost, garbage and recycling has gone to the street and it's all been picked up already. I've already gone to one of my stitching groups as well. I think I need to go pick up some groceries. Not sure if I will go or not. It started of sunny and now it's overcast.

I slept extremely well last night because I didn't have a nap yesterday and I didn't have ice cream just before going to bed.

No idea what is for supper tonight.

Good morning

I have completed 2 of today's 3 family medical appointments. Plus there are 4 other alarms set to make sure I am in the right place at the right time for those non-medical events. It is one of THOSE days that I just focus on getting all the must do's accomplished and let everything else slide.

My night sleep was interrupted by a phone call from DS17 around 1am. He had a situation that needed some input and guidance. I spent an hour with him sitting and discussing the situation and possible solutions. Short explanation is ......the internet is not always a nice place. I am thankful that I have the ability to easily return to sleep after being woke up.

*** Big Sigh of relief****
All appointments and events for today have been accomplished.
DD14 just finished up an hour long zoom meeting with her dietitian. My only requirement for that was setting up the zoom meeting on my laptop and making sure DD14 had information on her new medical diagnosis and meds so she could discuss that with the dietitian.

DS17 loves his job (so far) but they require wearing boots and the ones he has are not comfortable. So getting new boots has risen to the top of the long list of things that need to happen. When your shoes size is 15, it isn't easy to find boots that fit.

Also I have appointment a week from today that requires getting fasting blood work done before the appointment. So that needs to happen in the next couple of days.

But for now....this very moment......I have nothing that I need to do. Sweet moment!

Hi
I wanted to post at eye doctor's office but would have been impossible most of that time for eyesight.

In fact, still after all thsee hours am fuzzy-sighted.

Bottom line, good news after lots of machines, measurements amd exam.

We will begin on the "bad" eye less than 2 wks from now with a cataract operation. Dr says bad eye first, to get that under our belts and everyone feel as confident as possible with the good eye which is so much more nail-biting. That way, he blieves we have the very good chance of feeling secure that one eye is the best it can be, then go for the one that would make the big change, so the stakes will not seem so high on the better eye, about which we feel so protective. He denies it, but he s the best of the best with huge reputation, was the one who saved HRH's eye from being physically lost.

This is not what I expected, because I thought I wasn't even going to have an operation of the bad eye since it can only see things it is not focusing to see - not in the middle. Of course so one can ever get it to see what it looks at, but all the things it is not looking at can be clearer, lol. (I have full peripheral vision around the injured spot, but injured spot is where the focus happens.)

Dh and I have had supper. Now he is sleeping in front of the TV and I am listening to the news.

We both slept this afternoon. Like I said to dh "I was up early to get the garbage out and we will be up late watching Swamp People."
