The garden trowel is a hand tool with a pointed, scoop-shaped metal blade and wooden, metal, or plastic handle. It is comparable to a spade or shovel, but is generally much smaller, being designed for use with one hand. It is used for breaking up earth, digging small holes, especially for planting and weeding, mixing in fertilizer or other additives, and transferring plants to pots.

I had a lovely time in my garden yesterday, and also chatted to Dnextdoorneighbour C and DNeighbour S. I squeezed in the housework when DH was out, but ran out of time, so although upstairs is clean and tidy,. downstairs resembles.a.bomb site. But, today is another day!

Good morning, Kittykatt. Thank you for starting us off. I have pork and root vegetables in the fridge for Germane and me, the breadmaker set up to start early tomorrow morning, and the coffee maker ready to turn on.
I won't be as gabby, as I'll have to unplug the modem and computers etc. to protect everything from surges. I'll just lurk on my phone.

Gave Germane her Apoquel
Set up the breadmaker to run tomorrow morning and finish before they turn off the power

Sleep well, Dogged! You sound well organised and prepared..for tomorrow /today. I hope the power outages are short and soon over for you.

The cats have left the bedroom, so I'm doing some exercises.while.I dont have small furry people climbing all over me. However, I'm trying to be quiet so as not to attract anyone's attention - Jude is lying in the doorway, so I can't shut the door!

Today is beautiful and sunny and we're supposed to teach a pleasant 16 C / 61F. Freddie has had his walk, and we're sharing some Greek yogurt before I go for my walk. It's so gorgeous out, I'll go through the valley park and along by the stream.
