The Wyandotte is an American breed of dual-purpose chicken, raised both for its brown eggs and for its yellow-skinned meat. It was developed in the 1870s, and was named for the indigenous Wyandot people of North America. It has many colour variants, and is also kept for showing. It was originally known as the American Sebright.

The Wyandotte is generally calm, friendly, and docile, and.is suitable for backyard flocks.

Good morning, Kittykatt. Thank you for starting us off. I am still working on the apparently endless task of hanging laundry. I am half convinced that the laundry bag generates another load of laundry every time I turn my back on it. If so, it's a sign that I will never run out of clean clothes.

Good morning, everyone, and happy Wednesday!

Dogged, I think it's one of the mysteries of life, how an apparently small load of laundry cam magically multiply!

More rain is in the forecast for today, but it's already a mild 12.C, so at least it shouldn't be cold! My main aim is the proof read those reports.for a final time and then email them.to MD. For once, I'm well before the deadline. (MD needs time to collate all the reports so they are ready for the church APCM, which is inay ) I also need to add in my email that I've reminded DH that his report on the men's breakfast is also due.

Once Ive got that out of the way, can I start.y reply to SR's email? Also, I need to decide, am I going to list those items on eBay - if so, I need to just do it. Otherwise they need to go in the doations bag. Taking up space on the pine chest is no longer an option!

Well, I'm up - and sitting in the laundry room in the basement because the sirens went off. It's 1:50 a.m. right now. We're under a tornado warning until 2:15 a.m. A severe thunderstorm is arriving and conditions are right - and rotation has been seen in the clouds. . . .M is here with me, but dh, of course, is still on the upper floor. Of course.
Hanging clean clothes also serve as air fresheners, Doggedly! I hope you're done now.
Did you proofread those reports, Kitty? Sounds like you've got plenty of things going on.

I'll go ahead and post my list for the day to get a head start on the morning. Getting up and going tomorrow will be a little rough.

I was waiting for DH to leave for work before proof reading those reports, so I can do so without interruptions! He's just gone, so I e shut myself in the bedroom with just Freddie for company (he's asleep on the windowsill!) , soy plan is to do the proofreading next, email both reports to MD when I'm happy with them, and then finish my exercises.

Helia, you make me grateful that it was laundry keeping me up. I'm glad that the tornado didn't happen. We apparently had an earthquake, but I didn't notice. No princess with a pea, I.

helia, sorry for the middle-of-the-night scary warning. I didn't know you could have tornadoes in your area.

Today and tomorrow off work. I'm glad to have a few days while the kids are on Spring break. A bit sad we can't go someplace nice for those few days (MrNG needs to work at home + we didn't really plan ahead).
I have a phone appt at 11am with a recruiting agency for accounting jobs in accounting firms (CPA firms ?). It seems I won't make as much money for several years if I get hired by one of those accounting offices - unless I manage to negotiate a good-level job from the start, the guy is supposed to help me see what level I could be hired at.
DS10 has an ahtletics-practice all-day club thing 10am-4pm, and DS7 will be around in the house and I hope to be able to spend quality time with him.
I also need to take care of a kind of conjunctivitis that started yesterday, I will ask the pharmacist when I go there to re-stock the things for the daily nurse visit for my shoulder wound. (still 10 days to go with the daily visits).
