Thank you for starting us today Atlantic Flyer!!
I don't think I have a very busy day. Serve cats their weekly treat of catnip at 9 a.m. Three litter boxes to clean. Unload dishwasher and dish rack. Make a very easy supper. (Ham steaks and some sort of side dish.)
It's very foggy here. Dh and I don't have any plans to go out. I do plan on having a nap at some point. Dh was "yelling" in his sleep and thrashing around. He said he didn't have any dreams last night. I gave up trying to sleep at around 6 a.m.

Up at 5:45 today it was lite out already.
Did some stretching before getting out of bed.
qt. happened.
bujo & others
bfast happened.
The last of the last books is a slog to get through a page or two a day or EOD is progress enough.
Cloudy out today they got the forecast wrong / but it always rains on the last weekend of this mo.
according to history next weekend too fairs and festivals outdoors suffer.
I'm so glad that I have a clean kitchen after I did the clean up after yesterday's cooking adventures.

Thanks for the start AF.
It's somewhat sobering that we'll be heading to the beach next Sunday a.m. so I'm making that list I always make to "get stuff done" before we go. And this is a "busy" week - not like my life used to but: two workouts, dental appointment for permanent crown, body work, three zoom meetings (one temple, two genealogy), and a show on Saturday afternoon. I'd like to get in a beach pedicure too. A and V are coming for dinner tonight and ds tomorrow night. And I don't officially take charge of cemetery until 1 May but there are a few things that should be squared away this week.
Dh isn't getting today that I need downtime. We were at temple on Friday night and dinner with A and V after. Yesterday I was in a webinar most the day - I know it's genealogy but it's not like being able to do research or write. Dh had a friend over in the afternoon for bourbon tasting and I came down after and visited about an hour, and dneighbors came over for awhile last night too. He wanted build a fire last night (more people?) but thankfully fell asleep first, lol.
I'm going to spend a little time upstairs first. Prioritize some "me" time first.

All I have managed to do so far today is give the cats their nip and I had a nap with dh after he had his coffee. I made myself a tea and put it in the microwave. Now I have re-heated it and I'm drinking it while I scroll.
I also soaked the orchids.
Dh hasn't eaten anything today. He says he's not hungry. All I've had was a bun before my nap.
The fog has lifted.

I am sitting outside in my lanai, enjoying the sun and reading my book. The sky is filled with rain clouds and I can hear the thunder far off in the distance so I don’t know how long this is gonna be.
We enjoyed our breakfast with my son and his family. It is my son‘s 45th birthday. His kids were pretty good for a change so it wasn’t too bad. Sometimes they can just be really crazy.
Anyway, I don’t have much to do today nor do I care to. Need to get my steps in so I’ll probably go for a couple walks and then finish up on my gazelle.
I hope you all are enjoying your day. Have fun and I’ll see y’all later.

Good morning
RR - Happy Birthing Day!
I'm enjoying a slow pace start to the day. I was up before 7am feeling fully rested and ready to get started on the day. it feels good to not have to hurry but to be able to get things done in a calm pace.
I've prepared our first meal and have plans & prep done for the rest of today's meals.
I've been able to spend time in the garden each hour so far. It is my happy place.

Hi, everyone.
Happy Birthing Day to Ramblin'. No way you have a kid that old, though. Does not compute. I enjoy hearing about your time enjoying your lanai.
We did get some rain last evening. Hope it did some good as we teeter on the edge of drought here.
This morning, watched both a live sermon service and the beginning of a historic lecture series prerecorded, both local churches but only one of which I know very well at all. The lecture series is being held somewhere I'm not familiar, but subject very familiar. I sent links on to family.
Sat with morning fruit for that. I think I ate too late yesterday, maybe too much, with disturbed sleep, so I'm being a little cautious today.
HRH checked for me yesterday about my test results, but they weren't in yet at that time. I happen to see that they are in now but may not tell him. I appreciate so much that he would get out in front like that and cushion results, but maybe a conversation tomorrow with the dr first is best. Probably all good news as she expects but I wouldn't want to chance worry about something she might just think is boring. I may let her lead our opinions.
He will have a lot to enjoy today. A friend of his has some extra time like a mini vacation and I hear them chatting now.

I've been out and weeded two more fence sections in back the wheel burrow is over full!
Had lunch then put away pitch fork shovel and rake. Move the wheel burrow.
Deciding if I'll walk or mow by the area I got low enough for the mower to do I think will get it now.
Not a very big area how ever.
Did some knitting had music time too this morning.
I hear quail outside now.

I stamped for awhile and made a card for an elderly dcousin - one of the youngest in my father's generation and I think the only still alive.
Since then, I s2s-ed, started and rebooted laundry, put together the two lasagnes that this recipe makes, straightened the kitchen back up including sweeping up. Dh has gone to grocery for some garlic bread of some kind and ice cream for dessert. (I will eat a small bit of ice cream with a group but I don't even think about eating it otherwise.)
aaaaaaagh! left this sitting.
I had forgotten that the reason that A and V were coming for dinner is that V and dh are on a Zoom meeting at 8 p.m. She's had trouble with her Zoom account.
