Free Day Friday May Day 26 PWYC
How-dee! Waving to every one!
Got in yea!
I've mowed in front and cleaned under the mower.
Moved the cans full of weeds to the carport area.
I just checked when I was on a rest break after doing above stuff.
Had lunch too.
Waiting for the back yard to be dry enough to mow; it's not to bad as I'd mowed it more recently.
Could walk ddoggo.
Neighbors have a crew there couple of guys doing yard clean up mowing, picking up tree branches.
Other guy across the st. is on his lawn tractor mowing as well.
I raked up some of the weeds I dug out yesterday too.

Peek-a-boo! I see you! Thanks for getting in while the getting was good, Nancy!
DH is home early. I'm going to see if he'll run up to the little grocery with me after he's had lunch.
I hope everybody's having a good day.
You can do it, Twins! We believe in you!

Struggled through the morning and finally decided it was probably everyone's problem. So we made a request for service by 10 or 11, maybe? 11
Now getting here, I see that Kittykatt was having troubles through the super-early a.m. as well.
So glad and hopeful that maybe this is the end of it. We'd had some slowness on and off, but yesterday seemed to be fine for me.
BBL with actual thoughts and CUOP, lol.

Hello, everyone!
Harriet, if it's any help, it's around 7pm BST here, and this site appears to be fine now. I started trying around 6 am BST ( my usual wake up time) but couldn't get on until 9 am. Then, it wouldn't let me on all afternoon, but now I should be folding laundry, I thought I would procrastinate by seeing.I could get on again. The site did ask me to log in again, and now I'm back and posting.

Some ta das
-emptied beach bag, wiped down sandy sunscreen and other stuff, threw out what I could and rinsed bag free of sand. It's still drying, I'll repack it later.
-found kindle and persuaded it to recharge so I can read at the beach. Now it seems locked up on the screensaver page....ugh.
-printed HOA check that I'll drop off later
We're leaving on Sunday a.m. - tomorrow we go tIo a Broadway show at two, and friends are having a small Kentucky Derby party tomorrow p.m. so my time will be more limited.
I'm going to keep packing, finding things, checking off the list....I'm setting timer for 45 minutes to work, that will take me to 3:30. I have chicken thawing and a sweet potato for our supper - could use another veggie but whatever...
Whoops, sitting a few minutes but I'm working...

YEAH!! So glad to see the SHE village has the doors open and activity happening.
It is mid afternoon here (3pm) and I feel like my day just started because I couldn't get to SHE board to read your post.
My day has been mostly normal routine happenings. Teenager support, DH support, food prepared, laundry, PUPA, and as much time spent outside that I could manage in between doing other things.
2026 pepper harvest has officially started! I picked some banana peppers, bell peppers and cajun peppers today. There are many small peppers that should be ready to pick in a day or two. Hopefully these plants will provide peppers for the next 12 months. I ran out of peppers from 2025 garden about a month ago.

Re: Free Day Friday May Day 26 PWYC
The monthly threads - topics - are up.
I have planted a large plant, a "SunPatien" in a light purple, which I hope will grow tall at the far end of a long garden bed, and I've side-dressed that whole bed. Feeling delayed because the plants I have left are great but don't obviously match in size (2 or 3 to a pot) the only pots left to give them a place. Yes, there's a couple spaces in beds that might have plants that could come out and give a spot, OR they might rally, so I don't want to give up on them. Need to just make some decisions, right or wrong. I have just a few days until I go in for the other eye.
Joining Kittykatt in the laundry. Half of the bed linens are done through to folded or onto bed. HRH's laundry folded and ready for him to put away.
I hope everyone can get here and enjoy posting. I noticed LadyM made it.

Re: Free Day Friday May Day 26 PWYC
I ended up taking a nap, although I did get stuff done first. I've been cold today - high has only been low 70s and the house feels so cold too.
Thank you Harriet for starting the monthly threads. I think LadyM has been starting H & F. We're ready to go this month!

And thank you to Nancy for finding the way in and getting us started today.
I think I have the kindle working and fully charged finally. And I remember now how to restart it and use the power button to reset it.

I concur with LadyM, hard to get started without my community here. Surprising that your weather has been warm enough to ripen peppers! It is mid afternoon here (3pm) and I feel like my day just started because I couldn't get to SHE board to read your posts.
