Re: Sandra Bullock Saturday
Sandra Annette Bullock (born July 26, 1964) is an American actress and film producer. The world's highest-paid actress of 2010 and 2014, Bullock's filmography spans both comedy and drama, and her accolades include an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was named one of Time's 100 most influential people in the world in 2010.
After making her acting debut with a minor role in the thriller Hangmen (1987), Bullock received early attention for her supporting role in the action film Demolition Man (1993). Her breakthrough in the action thriller Speed (1994) led to leading roles in the romantic comedy While You Were Sleeping (1995), and the dramas A Time to Kill (1996) and Hope Floats (1998).
She achieved further success in the following decades with the comedies Miss Congeniality (2000), Two Weeks Notice (2002), The Proposal (2009), The Heat (2013), Ocean's 8 (2018), and The Lost City (2022); the dramas Crash (2004) and The Unforgivable (2021); and the thrillers Premonition (2007) and Bird Box (2018). For her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy in the biographical drama The Blind Side (2009), Bullock won the Academy Award for Best Actress. She was nominated for the same award for playing an astronaut stranded in space in the science fiction thriller Gravity (2013), which is her highest-grossing live-action film.
In addition to acting, Bullock is the founder of the production company Fortis Films. She has produced some of the films in which she has starred, including Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005) and All About Steve (2009), and served as an executive producer on the ABC sitcom George Lopez (2002–2007), on which she made numerous appearances. Dubbed "America's sweetheart" by the media, Bullock was also named the Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine in 2015.

Re: Sandra Bullock Saturday
Good morning everyone and happy Saturday!
L.Ann,I hope DD's appointment goes smoothly today.
Dogged, sending you finding vibes for the base of Germane's pen. As I'm guessing it needs to be kept flat, do you think you could have stashed it safely behind something, or in a small gap between two pieces of furniture, or even under the bed?
Bees and wasps (and other flying insects) are a cause of endless fascination for Fred and Matilda. (Jude doesn't seem to care, thank goodness!) Neither seem to remember that many flying insects have a stinger, and that the consequences for poking/ prodding/ attempting to play with said insect is likely to be painful! Fred's removal from the scene was prioritised as a matter of urgency, as I really, really do not want to take him to the vet - there is no way anyone could examine him while he is awake! Fortunately, Matilda was slightly.slower on the scene, and jumped down when I told her to "Stop that now!" (I very, very rarely shout any any of them, but felt this was justified!) Fortunately, the event ended well for everyone!
Gma, that sounds a very full day as ever. Is Mr VKM enjoying his retirement?
Today DH has men's breakfast then he is doe do g the rest of the day travelling on a train with some of his family to celebrate DBIL's recent birthday (he is D again as he not staying g here!
). I'm not sore what I'll be doing g yet. The forecast is for rain, but accuracy is not the forecaster's strong point, so I'll wait until I'm up and ready to start my day, and then decide whether it's an indoor day or an outdoor day!

Re: Sandra Bullock Saturday
Good morning Kittykatt! Thanks for the start.
Sounds like an eventful morning for you with those flying insects! Hope kitties stay out of trouble:)
I had my fun day yesterday with Dfriend! We don't see each other very often, so it was extra special. We had a lovely lunch together with a loooong chat, followed by a gorgeous photo exhibit. Really enjoyed it. The drive home was NOT fun but I survived.
I have yet to check yesterday's posts.
Today: we have sunshine, cool temperatures so far. (frost advisory... isn't it May???) It's a good thing that I only bought those Pansies for outdoors...
I must deal with laundry then
D2ex
meds/supplements
take ddog for walk
flip laundry/
eat something
go to gym

Re: Sandra Bullock Saturday
Yes, best finding wishes sent to the Doggedly household.
Pansies - these are so charming. They were my late dh's favorite flower.
As "Johnny Jump Ups" or violas, they are the stars in small flower-pressing projects.
(I have some I should be laminating right now
)
Hope you both enjoy yours, kitkat and Kittykatt.
I'm so glad we seem to be having normal flow for chatting and posting here.
Some trouble getting on at earlier hours for me. Perhaps someone working behind the scenes.

Re: Sandra Bullock Saturday
Hi, all. Just superquick Check Ins for me to day. I am up betimes and doing last minute packing. Today's goals are: wash hair, wash dishes finish packing and go.
Thank you for all of the good wishes. I haven't found the bottom of Germane's travel pen, but we can make do with the tarpaulin and her pee pads.
If I don't make it back before we go, have a great weekend everyone! I'll pop in from time to time while on vacation.

Re: Sandra Bullock Saturday
Hello!
I'm glad to be here. I couldn't get here yesterday morning, and then my day was busy, one thing after another, and my schedule didn't allow me to check in later. I took a peek in the evening but was too tired to post.
Always nice to see you here, Harriet. I hope you have a wonderful day!
So glad you got to have time with your friend, kitkat. Friendships are so important!! We are kinda weather twins. We are sunny and cool. I think we're just getting down to 1.7C tonight, so not quite freezing.
Did you get rain, Kitty? Glad the bug interaction ended well.
Doggedly, I hope you find the base. -Oh, I see you haven't. Safe travels.
Yesterday: I posted morning announcements (always takes some time), met CK for coffee late at 9:15, got home near 11, had some lunch, some qt, got ready for payroll, announcement in writing class 1 at 12:05, set up sub plans for 1 teacher, worked on prepping my own class, announcement in writing class 2 at 12:55, finished working on prepping my own class, payroll communications re: S with excused absence --> confusion for 1 teacher LH on how to calculate his participation, taught my own class 1:40 - 3:30, sat down to review grammar with 1 student who is struggling, chatted with teachers, answered another Q from teacher LH, filed an exam, home - snack (ate too much), looked more at rental websites for dd30's event, worked on GGT project, went out to eat with dh, coffee with dh, home around 8:30 pm. M came home and chatted with us for a bit. I was done.
It is sunny right now and 42*F (5.6C)
Today: I lay in bed this morning and worked on a puzzle - because for once I didn't need to rush to get somewhere in the morning. I've looked more at rental companies and messaged and called dd27 who is working on decorations. I heard the alerts that AC has been working -- but so far there is nothing for me to do. Soon, I'm going for a jog. This afternoon, I'd like to finish the S4 GGT project. This evening, we're going to CG1 - but we're not hosting - AND I'm not bringing the main! I can just go and be a participant. That seems to happen rarely. So, a pretty open day for me.
I need it.
Tomorrow, is another one of those super scheduled social Sundays: 10 - 12ish church, 3:30 - 6ish CG2 (we're not hosting), and then hosting Sunday dinner 6 - whenever.
Next:
- back exercises
- dress to jog
- JOG before the sun disappears
Later:
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower
- communicate with dd27 re: table linens
- lunch
- after lunch clean up
- payroll: finish GGT spreadsheet
- payroll: as many GGT emails as I can (some need to get issues checked/ corrected by AC)
- WF run?
- write very late bd card to ds
- order very late wedding gift for V and J
- other things?
- 5:30 - 9ish CG1
- duolingo
- update health apps
- finish fun book
- update goodreads
TaDas!
- up; weighed self - egads
that's all I'll say (I'm posting yesterday's weight on app)
- email deletions + weather website
- messages and call to dd27
- coffee
