Hello from Ajjacio, Corsica, France. It is 3:10 ish in the afternoon, I am now 6 hours ahead from home. We are in our 3rd week of our cruise, go home next Tuesday. So far it has been amazing. For those that are my Facebook friends I have been posting pictures.

Good morning

The must-do's of getting teens successfully launched has been accomplished. Then I sat down and enjoyed my one cup of coffee.

Blessedw2 - you are missed. I hope you are okay and can chat with us soon.

Skippable garden chatter - Most of the broken plants have been trimmed. The hail damage was extensive, but I believe most of the plants will recover. The begonias are the only plants that are not showing signs of new growth. The new asparagus structure seems to be working better than I expected. The tall asparagus ferns are a safe place for mockingbird nest with 4 eggs and are on eye level so I can check on them easily each day. The eggs will hopefully hatch in the next 2-3 days.

Project of the day = tax papers ready for CPA.

I am feeling better today, in part because I have nothing on my schedule except seeing dcousin. Dh left his car at her house, so I have to take him back this a.m. to see her and I'll spend some time there then. DH says he may go bowling tonight to get himself back in it after being off.

Right now I still need to walk ddog and shower and do a bunch of other things, but today I have some time for it. Dh says now he may have lunch with a friend before we go see dcousin.

France does also make me think of blessed, LadyM. I have coffee half the time these days, strong green tea the other half. The tea is good for me but the coffee more comforting and I'm really not sure why. It's not the cream - I put almond creamer into either.

We'd been waiting on a call from pharmacy that a script was ready, and finally got that this a.m. just as HRH had set out all the fixin's for his big spaghetti sauce recipe that is so good. He is trying to decide between PODA plans for himself, now. We could move the big kitchen plan over to tomorrow.

Laundry is spinning, but not laundry that keeps either of us at home if he wants to make it Errand Day. I can redeem it easily later.

We had an enjoyable visit with ds yesterday afternoon because he decided to come use the "weedeater" here and then hang around with us a bit.

I'd thought the children would come, but he says that will be today instead, after school sometime. We've seen all the boys at different times lately but have really been missing dgdC.

I have the indoor plants in their care rotation as of this morning. I'd like to have one ready to be potted up into something larger and then have it further placed into the very pretty pot dgdC made me, so she can see how much I really do appreciate it. Thinking about that - the lip of that attractive pot, which she 3-D printed, is harsh, not easy on plants. The only drawback.

Good morning! It is actually morning! I got to bed at a reasonable hour last night and woke up without much trouble. I've washed my breakfast dishes, hit the treadmill, and put in a little time on the next batch of menus. (Although I will not have anything shoppable in time to have today's dinner. I will have to figure something out.)

lucylee, DH's school is still in session. He is off for the week for this training course, but he is in administration, not in the classroom. I can't remember if this is the seniors' last week of classes or their week of exams; the underclassmen go a week longer. For the past several years, their schedule has been such that they end their first semester at Christmas break and have graduation by Memorial Day (it may be a little later this year because Memorial Day is so early; I don't know). They moved back the start date earlier in August to make up for it.

I'm glad you're enjoying your cruise, Costumelady! You'll have to tell us stories when you get back.

I'm glad things are going well in the garden, LadyM! You can whip those papers into shape!

I'm glad you have a relatively peaceful day ahead, Twins. Be gentle with yourself.

Is the pharmacy far, Harriet? Might a bead of hot glue round off that flowerpot edge and make it a little more gentle? Whatever you decide to do, if you don't already have the plant in before you see dgdC, perhaps you could consult with her. She may have some creative ideas.

Also thinking of blessed, whom I assume is very busy. Waving in case she has the chance to peek in!

Agenda for the day, other than trying to keep up with dailies, is to work on that grocery list. Laundry today will be DH's shirts, I think. I'm caught up on everything else, and I've gotten the empty hangers down the basement. So even though he won't be needing them for a few days, I think they're up. Guardians have a day game if the rain holds off; it's completely overcast here.

CI ~ Windy day here ~
I turned off a/c before bed woke up hot in the nite was up for a bit did some of my journaling.
Back to bed till 7 ish
Winds that were in our forecast showed up.
I was able to do some garden tasks like put away cans and other things that might have
become airborne so they do not blow away. Got pics of flowers before winds could hurt em.
Swept seeds / the wind is good for getting seeds out of trees.

I am also waiting on Rx refills not out but might be a good day to fetch em if they are done.
OMM / Plant shopping an iffy day for that however.

Inside stuff needs attn.
dgdson will be over later like 3-4 to secure the deck lattice.
A neighbor was going to come look at iris color not the best day for a yard tour however.
Ddoggo says "No way" to a walk.

My hip and neck/shoulder are still achy but less so today. I had time to unpack my suitcase and it's with dh's ready to be put away. I made the bed for the first time since we got home and have finished a.m. routine. MBR is straightened up mostly. Our bath towels are in washer. Kitchen counters are clean and clutter free. Just that makes me feel better.

I'm not sure what to do next, there's so much to catch up on and my energy is flagging.

Hi!

It's a "cold" windy day here, even though it's 16C which should be an almost perfect day temperature wise. Dh just got up for the day. He had his coffee earlier.

Dishes are clean and need to be put away. Dish rack needs to be emptied.

We are planning on putting the 2 window air conditioners in today. I don't know if that's going to happen. We are supposed to be getting HOT days between now and Tuesday. Today I have a hoodie on.

Chicken and rice and green beans for supper here.

Dealt with some desk duty stuff mission accomplished got new house ins. going yea!

A branch broke in the back yard no damage Monday it landed where I had a lawn chair,
feeling SO glad I moved it and was not sitting there today when it came down it's about 3" in dia.
at the base of it.. that was our excitement for the morning.

A well spent a.m. not a good day to be out and about there is a dust storm 3 hrs. north of us and
that's caused multiple accidents and closed down the roadway.
SO glad I did the yard stuff yesterday.
