Thank you for the start today Twins' Mom!

I've done 1 litter box.

I also took out bathroom and kitchen garbage.

Last night's pots and pans are now soaking. I didn't do that last night.

Dh had a low sugar number during the night and he had something to eat.

Dh is up and ready for coffee. Every morning when I sit down here, he's up and needing his only coffee of the day.

Good morning

I just took DD14 to her LAST FULL DAY OF SCHOOL. I might be more excited than the kids. :)

Floyd Cramer music is playing at DH request. That piano music brings back good memories of listening to it at his grandparents' home.

We have appointment with financial advisor this morning. I need to review last year numbers and get my questions ready to discuss with him.

PSW has come and gone.

I have been doing dishes. Dishwasher got emptied and I'm refilling it with large bowls from last night's supper.

It's another windy and warm day here. One of us has to cut the grass at some point today. Because dh is dealing with a sugar crash, his vision is a bit blurry and he doesn't feel good.

Good mornternoon!

I'm not s2s, and I'm exhausted. I spent a good bit of this morning running on adrenalin and just crashed -- woke up to discover that my phone had not charged in the night, and once I started using it, the battery started dropping, even though I still had it plugged in. I'd had some trouble last night, so switched cords, and this was still happening, leading me to think there was something wrong with the phone's battery or internal charging. So I was in a tizzy. I can't back up my phone to my computer unless I upgrade my computer OS, and my copy of Word will not work with the updated OS. (I am a stubborn dinosaur and refuse to get the "pay us every year" Office 365 subscription.) So I raced down to my desk to see if I could charge up the old phone I replaced because its touch screen was getting wonky and back it up there. Meanwhile, I printed out the handful of Word files I most wanted access to, and DD suggested I plug in my phone downstairs. As it turned out, my phone charged fine downstairs (I am now suspecting the USB port on the back of my clock was the culprit). I think I still may update my OS and get a new version of Word (the "pay us up front for the cost of two years' subscription and continue to use it for 10" kind; I'll lose Excel, but the app included with the computer can read Excel files, and I never have cause to create any of my own). But at any rate, I got myself worked up into a lather about the whole thing and am now crashing, and I am not s2s -- I just threw on yesterday's dress and a clean pair of panties. I need to start my day over, and it's after noon. Alas.

I'm not even properly CUOPed. I'll do that once I'm showered and dressed and lunched. See you later!

Gee, that just seems like the most average day, Mystery. tizzy, racing, dinosaurial technotrouble. Didn't anything unusual happen?

I hope it smells nice, Twins', and handles nicer. Mostly, I hope you like the color, which is, of course, the most important consideration.

Thank goodness lucylee briefly checked in on us last evening - where, indeed, HAS she been, I was wondering.

We are back from the dr. I lobbied a little bit for eyeglasses, but he just can't imagine why. He says things are going so well, and I'm nearly at 20 20 in both eyes (left one, in the areas it has vision at all), so enjoy reading glasses and otherwise get used to this new life. And he sees no reason that will change for the rest of my life.
60 years
with glasses from the minute I awaken until the minute I lay my head down, and now - nekked.

I told him that the 2 dds say now I need makeup (suddenly undereye circles are more evident). He says makeup is cheaper than glasses. (bless his heart, he may be technically correct, but glasses go on in one second without decisions)

Also, he says I have no more chance of having another loss of vision like my gray cloud than any other person does. He says about the same percentage chance as "winning the lottery". I never had that explained.

Like Cathy, all I have left is the pots and pans.
We stopped by grocery on the way home and got a few things.
Ready for trash day.
Still no word on the planter pots - perhaps they escaped a truck.
Expecting ds' children and have put 2 YooHoos into fridge.

Meeting with financial advisor went well. He gave us 99% assurance that we will be okay for life. Nothing is guaranteed but it seems we most likely will be able to pay our bills. Although, I like DS52 assurance better that he gives me almost every time he calls "Mom, if you & dad need anything....just say the word and I will make it happen".

I haven't been procrastinating, but I have been distracted from working on the paperwork to take to CPA. Ugh. I just don't like doing it. I don't know why because it is never bad news. I just don't wanna.

Next up is preparing lunch for DH & DS17

Back from Awards Day and voting.
Ate at McD’s and the person ahead of me paid for me!
I was sorry I didn’t feel like u could pay it forward today, but I promise I will before long!
When to grocery store… home… left one of my bags… back to grocery store. Sigh.

Dgd wanted to spend the night, so she is here now.

Ddil was right, no special awards, but her teacher did give her a certificate for “most likely to see the good in everything.” And she got a little apple pin for having no more than 5 absences.
Her teachers were really special. Two of them gave every student a little goody bag with several items — funny sunglasses, candy, etc.
Dgd was crying like her heart would break afterwards, because she will miss her teachers this summer, and will be going to the middle school next year.

I have started a load of laundry.
Tomorrow is another day.
