Last post for the month of July. I don't have all of today's data yet but am going to use the 30 days of data that I do have.
Doing a review....
** Vegetables were easy. I did have one off day but otherwise it was a success. I eat a wide variety of vegetables to keep it interesting.
** protein goal being over 40% was successful (12 day) more than not (8 days). There is lots of room for improvement!
** Sleep. *sigh* I missed my 7 hour goal by ONE minute. I naturally sleep less during summer months so am not concerned.
** Hydration - easy. simple. Habits are in place to fill up containers in the morning and make sure they are empty by evening.
** Food logging. Successful. I record my food as honestly as I can even when it is bad. I still weigh my food about 99% of the time.
** Moving my body during the month of July was limited by hip pain making walking slow & difficult. That is getting better so hopefully I can get my step count back up. One thing that I have added during the month of July is a better way to reduce the time that I sit. I try to limit sitting to less than 30 minutes at a time. I am now using a Octagon Rotating Pomodoro Timers with Gravity-sensor that I find easier than previous timers. I reward myself by sitting with my feet up for 15 minutes after completing tasks, repeating this several times a day. I really enjoy earning these little rewards.
** Better bedtime routine. I am still not particularly good at this, but I am making an effort. I can sometimes be found running to get into bed before my time runs out. LOL I might be worse than a toddler in not wanting to go to bed.
** Declutter is happening almost daily. Most of the time it is not happening in big chunks, but it’s turning into a mindset and occurring repeatedly in small ways.
** Weight loss this month was the least since I started this weight loss journey July 2024. I lost .3 lbs this month. My total weight loss is 31 lbs. I made some comparisons to what I ate this month vs the other months where I lost most and there is a clear answer to what I need to do. My calories are too high. They need to be at least 150 less a day to lose weight.

LadyM, I've lost 1.3 lbs this month. I talked to dr office and we are bumping up the Zepbound dosage slightly. I'm not eating as well as I could/should so I'm ambivalent about that but we'll try it. My walking is off this week because I'm feeling so stiff and my right foot is still hurting - plantar fasciitis but soreness too. I go back to workout today, but will only have one next week and one the week after.

Dh has gained weight this month - a significant amount - but he eats when he's bored. He has to learn to deal with that.

Since Monday and getting over being sick, I've made my 10K steps each day and stayed on my eating plan. I really need to focus on my water! Been to the gym and exercise classes M-W. Will need to do some video work here today.

Signed up for the fitness drumming for the month of August. It meets on Monday. And my friends that I do my video workouts with are enjoying the class so much we've all bought tubs, exercise balls and drum sticks so we can do our own class at the clubhouse once a week. There are plenty of videos posted on UT that we can follow.

Ive kept up with my exercises, and water is better than if I wasn't being accountable! I need to do us on this, particularly as August and September are often warm.
