Good evening everyone! I'm sitting here with a sweatshirt jacket on and a little lap blanket over my knees. Temp outside is around 58*, inside 72; the hallway where the thermostat always registers warmer than other rooms! We've had rain almost all day...I'm not complaining, we needed it!
Helia...WTG to your dds good GPA scores. I like hearing about how well all our village young people are doing. Your house sure is busy this week!
MT...congratulations on your new family member. Dakota looks like a nice dog and I'm sure she will be happy with you and Mr. MT!
OKay...((hugs)) for your daunt. The restaurant looks like a good place to eat! I'm glad LO is feeling better.
Harriet...David Seah's site is interesting. The Grounghog Resolution Day concept gives many times for start overs. Or, each new date could be used to add one more good habit! Oh, and I hope your washer is fixed easily, without trouble!
Elizabeth...still hoping you find a job soon. Also thinking of Dee's dsil job hunt!
Missing Ivy's posts lately, hope she gets her computer back soon.
Thinking of Dee's dh, Harmony's dh, Sadiee starting P.T. today, ((Lucy and dmom.))
I was happy today to keep the kitchen cleaned up and start my weekly cleaning. I'm almost sure dfam#1 will not be here tomorrow, not sure about dfam#2 yet.
Lynlee...I think you are doing well with your routines, evening and lights out, etc. Also it seems like you are making headway with the Singapore Daisy. Are you still having a heat wave?
Kathryn...I hope your next port will be happier!
That's all I can remember! Waving hello to everyone.
Time for ddogs to make their last trip out. Dh has already turned in the the evening and I'm headed there next!
Happy Friday

Re: Happy Friday
We are done! The shop is empty and clean. Dd2s dining room and den have stacks of boxes and misc plus what was put in the garage. I went to the shop at noon and loaded my SUV. Dd2 came and loaded up the GW stuff and the daycare donations and delivered them. At some point we loaded her SUV and then went to her house and unloaded both SUVs. After that we picked the girls up at daycare and spent an hour and a half delivering her ex employees their W2s. Dd1 offered to watch the little girls, so we picked up fast food and went to dd2s house. We took 3 loads in our SUV's plus her dh had an enclosed trailer. Late in the afternoon his bf came and helped. That poor guy is always involved in the moves just like I am.
The boys have basketball games tomorrow, one at 11:15 and the other at 5. The fun begins....
Guess I better drag out the ham I cooked the other day and get it sliced or cut in small pieces and put into the freezer.

Re: Happy Friday
WTG, LILAC!!! I know you are soooo relieved to have that all done.
DS just called to say they were on their way home. Hmmm... now they will probably arrive before 2:00 a.m. and dh will probably think we can still go to college town tomorrow. * sheesh *
I would really prefer a big rest day tomorrow, after spending two days w/dgs.
Questions:
Do y'all do your weekly home blessing -- basic vacuuming/dusting/bathrooms -- before you ever start on the zone for the week, or do you do zone every day of the week, along with whatever else is going on?
Do you do your weekly home blessing all in one day or do you spread it out over the week?

Tomorrow is another day.

Re: Happy Friday
I work on Focus cleaning in the week's room/space anytime after Morning Dailies, and usually schedule it around the same time as declutter. Often, it's 15 minutes of each for declutter and Focus on most days. An hour of Morning Dailies (dishwasher unloaded, one load laundry, bed made, pick-up) always comes first, in case something happens during the day and that's all I can manage. I do add in weeklies, but I don't think in terms of the whole house at once. Everything's rotating.
Sunny, thanks for the good laundry wishes.
I was astonished that Harmony and lucylee would even suggest I might be amusing as a washboardist. I assure you, I play the washboard as well as Misty Rowe or Minnie Pearl ever did. I don't understand what that has to do with the laundry, though.
