then there was thursday done and dusted, and now its getting on through friday.

My lawn mower is back, repaired and ready to go today. Its battery is replaced so key start works, and I'm hoping the self propelled thing works too. The hard bit will be turning the corners and dodging under and around things.
Hoping I have enough steam for that, and can find my cycle gloves as I need the padding or my hands blister. I need more petrol, as last lot was bought years ago when I later found it inoperational.

Feeling for all those preparing for moving. (((Kathryn)))

Long phone call from my dm today. She said she is not doing the highway driving to town and getting her shopping done at local general store. Council wants to 'improve' her village, though I doubt they have any idea how it works atm, with people coming and going. Mostly it would look empty, but it has lots of people in and out, kids being bused to a town pvt school so busy then at pick up drop off time. etc.
Just had 2nd long ph call with her.

at 5pm - I need eat and walk ddog.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

Written earlier, but could not post:

Hello everyone! I got up a little earlier today, not spectacularly earlier, but a step in the right direction. I have done a few necessary things and am about to start the job search activity for the day. Last night, I did a serious clean of half the MBR floor. Now, I see what else needs to be done! I realized this morning I am losing weight, probably due to irregular schedules and the fact that I lose my appetite under stress. Fortunately, I have some weight that needs to come off. I gained as a side effect of some meds I was taking. I am off them, but the weight is still there. This is the first time in my life I have been overweight. I can't say I like it but I did need the meds.

Art class is tonight, and I know what I am going to do. I have to make buttons for an animal org event and I cannot print in color. (Free printer, can't complain too much). So I will do backgrounds in acrylic. Nothing complicated, just nice, fun washes, then letter over them.

helia: Before deciding to pay cash for a car, check the interest rates vs. interest rates on a CD. When the X bought his truck, we took out a 0.9% loan and put the cash into CDs with a higher interest rate, set to mature when we would need them. The interest provided a 'free' car payment, so it worked out cheaper.

Harriet: I predict more enthusiasm from both boys and girls with the new practice arrangement!

Nancy: Now, why would mom buy a cheese taco for a baby with low dairy tolerance. I nominate her for a spanking.

end of stuff written earlier.

Finished the washes for the buttons. While online this afternoon, I got some ebooks from the library and figured out how to make my computer read them to me. Now, if I get bored with crochet with Hogan, and Dr. Who video is STILL not in, I can at least some reading. Think I will try that now. Good night all!
