Phone call shortly after I posted today regarding a long-time congregant who passed away suddenly today. DH and I went to their home for a visit and just now got home. I know that this guy's grandparents were members of the congregation (and he was 71) so they go way, way back.

And this message sat here for an extended period. I answered a phone call and had a long discussion. Then discussion w dh. Then neighbor dropped by with GS cookies. Then I walked ddogs around the circle.

Now I'm done for the night.

Tomorrow is Thursday, right?
MAYBE we are making progress.

Well, dgs may be making progress... I, on the other hand, am getting more and more stupid. :roll: :evil:
Just realized I left a load of clothes in dryer till they were completely dry that should NOT have been completely dried.
At least it was MY clothes; won't have to listen to dh grumble about it.
This is precisely the reason he does not allow his clothes to be tumbled briefly to avoid ironing.
* sheesh * sheesh * sheesh *
Maybe they will still fit -- two cotton sweaters and a pair of cotton pants.
* sheesh *

DGS is napping, finally.

So sorry about the member of your congregation, Twins.
And btw -- your team is really having their way with our team tonight. About a 20 point lead at halftime.
Tomorrow is another day.

LOL, Lucylee! Glad you are having a night off from college town.

After doing visit tonight, I'm wishing I had done so more often as president.

Dinner is done dishes have been rinsed. Hens are in for the night.
I have a plan foe no water in the morning, the new 5 gal bucket I bought last month will work just fine for hand washing flushing the toilet. In case you missed it the are work on the water down the street in the morming and it will be off part of the day.

I have tried to cuop several times today and have replied to everyone in my mind. The weather has been cloudy here all day and finally this evening we've had a bit of a shower.

Happy Birthday Mr. Lilac. (So sorry this greeting is late!)

I have spent much of the afternoon and evening resting and napping. I would rest awhile then get up, do something, then rest again. No tummy pains today, just feel tired. My head is a little stuffy and my eyes are itchy and irritated. When we were out I noticed a layer of green film on cars, etc. I think my problem is the pollen. Our oak tree is full of little catkins.

Tomorrow I am meeting with my dcousin. They are leaving for VA, then AK next week and really wanted to get together with me before they go. I'm looking forward to next week also.

Oh my goodness... I have eaten too much tonight. I should never be left home alone (or with someone who offers no restraining influence.)
Tomorrow is another day.
