About concerts and women throwing panties up on stage- :oops: I've always wondered about that. :?: Do the ladies bring spare panties along, to throw up on stage? :?: OR do they just whip off their panties there, in public, then throw them up? :lol: I don't "get it". I suppose it's supposed to be "suggestive"? If I was on stage, I'd rather get a box of chocolates or roses or something nice. But I guess people get a "kick" out of panties, for some reason. Seems crude to me, in a way and not ladylike. Is it just me or am I missing something here? :?: :?: :?:

I taught myself how to use BOTH hands/fingers, while typing on my Nook keypad tonight! :!: :P Is that "text-messaging"? :?: I don't know! :lol: :oops: But it went much-much faster than typing with one index finger. :D

LOL, Ivy -- I agree! DH & I were talking about that just tonight, after I saw Lilac's post. DH thinks they bring spare panties. I asked him if these women write their phone numbers on the panties and think the entertainers might actually call them up later, or what??? DH thinks it is just a sybmolic act and probably the stage crew just sweeps them all into the trash when the show is over. I have heard of women throwing hotel keys at entertainers and things like that, too, so some of them must think there is at least a slight possibility the entertainer might follow up on it... and I suppose many do -- if not because of the thrown objects, at least with groupies that hang around after shows. But throwing underwear is crude and tacky, I agree. And like I said earlier, I am so glad that George Strait's reputation apparently has his fans giving him more respect these days. DH said at least a thousand of those women would have been willing to spend the night with him after that concert Friday, and I told him he was probably setting the number waaay too low... but as we mentioned earlier, either he has kept his private life so private that no one has ever heard of any sort of illicit behavior, or he really IS a good a person as his image appears.

* sigh * I would definitely need to go shopping if I were to throw panties at anyone. My lingerie drawer does NOT look like a Victoria's Secret display. :lol:
