Praying your area and CA and others who need may get some of our excess, Okay! We definitely don't need any additional right now. Though I've heard this summer is forecast to be 'dry'. So we could be crying for some later on.

I'm slowly (but surely) going through dh's clothes. In addition to the 26 pair of socks I got rid of last night, I've added at least 6 t-shirts to that pile. I've piled and put away his shirts in 'categories' more or less. Some are special events, some are his fire shirts. I've separated those into really good and the 'not so' good. Put all his work shirts in 1 pile. Now I have a stack of sweat shirts for him to go through tonight. He has way more than he even thinks. I'm sure he does not need them all. If needed to keep some (away from the RV) I can put them in a container to put up in the storage truck (and make a note that they're there in case he needs some in the future.) It's that old mantra: "WHERE can I FIND it?"

Meantime I have the water heater on for dishes. My aim as I slowly go through things is to downsize even in here. There's just too much 'stuff' for me to contain here.

Yesterday dd1s dmil apologized to her. She said she was just upset that she can't do anything for herself anymore and needs help. Which is what dd1 thought was the problem. Dd1 had asked me yesterday if I could stay with her dmil this morning while she ran to her school. I had said yes. I called dd1 this morning and asked her how that would go over, if she was upset that dd1 had to be there. Dd1 said she was thinking the same thing and was going to call and tell me not to come. Her dmil doesn't live that far from the school and dd1 said she only needed to be there for a few minutes to talk to a parent.

I need to buy groceries as I haven't been to the store for a week.

I have visited my colorist. It was needing it badly.

Guess I better get a move on.

Erased the footsteps, remade the bed, stored the 4 large items (each one is a load of laundry) in the spare bedroom closet and will haul each item out and wash it as the weather allows. Right now it is pouring rain.

OKay does stage 4 restrictions mean the MPB is closed?

I'm just now getting to my writing. As I was finishing the bed, dh called up the stairs that Surfer Dude was calling on Skype. We had a delightful 60 minute conversation with him. He's in Germany and just had a job interview so wanted to talk about it and his adventures. It is lovely that he calls us (pseudo-aunt/uncle) and we loved hearing his stories.

Now to get to work on the sermons.

Dishes done, dh's clothes cleaned out & sorted. Now he just has to decide what sweatshirts to keep. There are 2 that he got back when he worked at Kodak. They're both very heavy, but stained with paint, etc at this point. Know he hates to get rid of them. Perhaps he can keep 1 here in the coat closet & I can 'store' the other one away for the forseeable future. He has one on and I'm sure there are one or two in the laundry and there are at least 6 or 7 more on the bed (awaiting his decision).

I had an order from A mazon that had texted me that it was delivered on Wed. Kept checking at the post office as that's the address I had given them. Dh brought it down from the office (where we're not supposed to have mail sent any more) this morning. So I've sent off an email to find out how to get them not to ship to this address. It did come UPS so not sure if that's the problem. Glad it at least got to ME and not one of the other several addresses I've sent things from time to time -depending upon whom it was for.

I'm stalled. I sat down with a cup of coffee to GMAT.

Stage 4 water restriction is in different town than MPB. Although we do have good friends that own a car wash in that town. DFriends are diversify and have "deep pockets" that can financially withstand it. Although I suspect many business won't make it through this. Even the businesses not directly affected......for example - who would buy a home in a town that doesn't have enough water? It is almost a death sentence on a town to declare this strict of water restriction.

The town that MPB is located is also on water restriction, but not so severe. They don't get their water from lakes, but from water wells. As long as the wells can keep up with the demand, they keep the water restriction relaxed. The past 2 years they have used odd-even day system for outdoor watering. If your house number ends in an odd number, you can only water on odd days of the month, and vice-versa. I think there is also a time limit for outside water usage - only between midnight and 8am if I remember right.

Our home is on a different water system and has no water restriction (yet?). A few years ago we were able to connect to rural water system. We use this rural water connection to provide water to the inside of our home. We have 2 water wells (just one is currently being used) for outside watering. And 2 ponds for providing water to livestock.

alrighty! Coffee cup is empty. I need to get going again. LO has a school program in a couple of hours. I'll throw a few hot curlers in hair to smooth out the frizzy's.

Back from most of my walk. Stopped at a yd. Sale and got hicken boots for the toddler N. to use while feeding hens. And a small sampler loom. Had a nice chat with the gal her daughter and dgsJ are in the came grade maybe in the same class. She showed me her quilts!
I am sipping tea. Thinking of what project would work to take to the next spnning mtg. This fun to consider.

Got to chat with dh a little this morning. We didn't get to talk at all yesterday, between my prepping and then rushing off to moms group first thing in the a.m., his arriving home after 6 and then leaving again at 7 for the musical (which he said was great! I saw that you like this story, lucylee; I've just seen the movie, not the Broadway musical), dhouseguest being here, and dh's arrival home again at 11 pm. . . He did not work late last night, for a change. He was so tired that he went to bed asap. His colleague will be returning soon, and we're ALL happy about that.

I did decide on the menu for tomorrow's small group, made up a groc. list, also let the moms group leadership committee know the date of our dinner together and asked about times.

Then, I ran some errands:
- WW - up 0.1 so basically the same
- Target; still need to unload the car
- home for a snack - as I forgot to go to the bank
- out again to the bank

Now, I'm finishing lunch, thinking about the next 2.5 hours, which is all I have before I head out to tutor - and it will be after 5 pm by the time I get home from that.

Next:
- drink water; I don't do this enough
- finish a.m. routine, including taking a shower; I didn't get to this first thing this a.m.
- quick run to the groc. store - if I can fit that in before I need to leave

Later:
- tutor at 3
- dd18's small group will be here at 3:45

There are a gazillion other things I should be doing but I don't have the time today. Would really like to just make the plunge and order the bbq to be catered for dd18's party. I hope it's not too late. . .

Spent some time looking for a pipefitter. We are having a horrible time trying to find someone....at any price. I found the number of pipefitter union in big city. I'm going to clear it with DH first, but then plan to call them and ask for help. What is our chances of getting a pipefitter to agree to drive 200 miles to do repairs? I'm thinking it will be slim & none. But that is only option I can think of.

DBro called and talked. He was feeding cattle and in the mood to talk. and talk...and talk.... AFter 38 minutes I got off the phone and it immediately rang again - this time it was DMom wanting to talk....and talk. One the good side - I was able to get the garden weeded (one handed) while spending an hour on the phone.

Lunch is about ready to serve - teriyaki chicken, friend potatoes & onions, spring mix salad with balsamic/oil dressing.

As usual I am busy. I don't juggle "balls" but I do spin "plates". Some are very wobbly right now ready to fall off.

Lilac, I hope dbil does ok with his 2 operations. That is a lot to recover from. Also hope DD1's dmil learns to cope with all the help around her now.

Ivy, I'd read almonds were good for acid. I'd always meant to try them, but hesitated because other problem often makes nuts problematic for me. I'd read one only needs 4 or 5 of them. Surely I can manage that many. I'm going to try them soon.

Harriet, I've been wondering what you are using the 2nd room upstairs for? Is it yours?

Lucylee, thought I'd tell you once I was past the hormone roller-coaster, my moods straightened out all by themselves. Not regular everyday moods which I still struggle with, but the peaks and valleys that occurred monthly. I got pretty bad those last couple years.

Dee, wondering what they'll do about the aneur., hope that will be ok. Does your DH have any thoughts of ever retiring?

Yesterday was a challenge. Went with dh to dr. appointment first thing. He is pleased with how his hip is healing. Apparently, removing that old hardware sometimes results in a corner of leg bone getting knocked off and it didn't happen this time. He is very pleased. DH has appointment for 1 year now.

Went to 2 county offices on the way back home, then dealt with church people who came in tiny compact car to pick up equipment they were borrowing here... meanwhile 1 of our trucks is at jobsite, the other loaded up with expensive windows...so they had to come back...and they brought said equip. back while we were gone so noone here now to help us put this stuff back up on high wall hooks...grrrrrr

And trip to cemetary was uneventful except for loads of traffic in rain on the way back. Service was short but nice, with the military part first, the taps (so sad) and the flag but thankfully no gunfire... and then we all went to restaurant for lunch after.

Before I got home I could tell I was fading fast. I don't know if it was from the busy day Wednesday, or the early morning or the stress of the event, but I couldn't even keep my eyes open. I made a cuppa coffee but was too tired to walk back to kitchen to get it from the micro. Slept the balance of the afternoon, had a bite to eat, went to bed and slept the night Thankfully I am feeling better today.

Couple hours taking care of financial matters; went to bank. LOL hanging. Now I need to get going on some house chores.

Rushing through cause I have my retired teachers luncheon in a few...

Just a thought though..Okay, do you have a high school or community college with a tech division connected with it??? Sometimes thats a good place to look for help. The students many not be able to do the work, but the teachers may know someone who can help you out. We have great schools like that in our area.
