Twins you are busy!
Of course, I could have done some of these things earlier in the week when I was taking it easy. Ds had the misfortune of asking how my day was, and I gave him an event by event by errand report. He probably won't ask again. I really didn't count on going after him - it's not on my radar right now so I'm always surprised.

After I posted I bought wine and went through grocery quickly, mainly getting what is needed for tonight. Back home, I got all the ingredients in the breadmaker and took off after ds. He texted me, I called him back to say I was on the way since I couldn't text back, and then he called me again because he didn't think I was getting there fast enough, I guess. After I got him back home I went to U haul for propane, and then back through grocery for grapes (to go with hummus for appetizers) and ice cream (to go with fruit) for dessert.

I'm resting just a minute before I get moving. DMacs is sitting at my feet. I know he feels disoriented with the cone on. Sunny, I am thinking that perhaps the shaved area is itching also. Such an old dog, I hate putting him through this.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to a cat funeral for the kitty who lived next door at our old house. He was presumably killed by the neighbors dog and they froze him until the grown sons (late 20s?) could come home for the funeral.

The house is in decent enough shape except for the big console sitting in the middle of the already small Great room. It goes back next week.

I'm already thinking ahead to next week - need to visit dsis on Monday or Tuesday, dmom has doc appt on Thursday and I have a Wed p.m. meeting. Need to get dMacs sutures out on Friday if possible, and then we leave on Sunday May 25 for the beach. (I think it's just me and dh going.)

Ooooh, need to get moving again.

-Shape challah to rise
-clear kitchen table to set for shabbas dinner
-thaw salmon
-have dh put tank back on grill
-cut fruit for dessert

All I can say, Kathryn, is WOW, and may I say it again? WOW! Ours was a 'private' sale and we didn't have to do anything. Boy, am I ever glad!

It stopped raining a few hours ago and some people are beginning to pull in. Still looking like rain but the radar shows none. Think Kathryn might still be getting it however. It has moved slowly eastward while moving in a constant northerly progression.

I'm taking a break from cleaning my 2 top dresser drawers. Both were filled with miscellaneous 'junk'. Got rid of some, moved some and organized the rest. Only can work so long & my back starts in or I get antsy from doing the 'same' thing. Especially when everything is not simply falling into place.

Well, our hummingbirds are back. Just filled the feeders a couple of days ago. Sitting here watching them perch and sip as I type. They always seem to come right around Mother's Day & leave by Labor Day.

You buy permanent press clothing and are quick to get it out of the dryer before wrinkles set in!

Home - for a bit. I can't remember when I was last here. I have
- done most of a.m. routine - didn't have time to finish before I had to leave to pick up dd15 and GG
- picked up dd15 and GG
- tutoring session; I think I was more tired than he was - and he is the one who got back from Taiwan 3 days ago and is jet-lagging
- groc. store

Now, the back of my car is full with stuff from Target and the groc. store. I'm going to finish unloading and putting away. I never got to the play room today. I'm not sure I will. I don't know when dh will be home. We're going out tonight per our Friday night tradition - don't know where either. I've eaten 8 points so far today, so I have 18 to use.

Nancy, it says you're obviously a fascinating woman with an intriguing life and lots to think about.

Twins, perhaps it is healing and therefore has started to itch. So sorry to hear of the kitty's death. Do I remember you once taking a nap on porch with a neighboring kitty or was that someone else?

Great to hear Mr. Harmony's dr is so pleased with the hip's healing that there won't even be an appt for another year. It was a hard-won victory for you, Harmony, but an important one. Good job on all the effort and determination you put into it. It'll be hard to figure out what will go on with the other part of the upstairs until we can SEE it again, and also determine whether HRH still needs some of it after moving into the contained office. I suspect filing cabinets may need to stay, for instance. I went up there after the carpet had gone up and everything was shoved even further over to make more space to get the work done.

I think it is destined to become the headquarters for decluttering for a while. But HRH says how can I find anything to declutter upstairs since he's already done it. I said, "well, the first thing I notice is the wooden chicken." He said, "why the chicken?" and I said, "For one thing, I've seen the same one several times on hoarding programs." and he said, "but this one is OUR chicken. Why would you declutter OUR chicken?" and of course I said, "why no, I was only kidding. In fact I was thinking of bringing it downstairs and putting it on the mantel." :?

Harmony, if the almonds are chewed up well, they might be okay. I've had problems with sunflower seeds for my tummy. The Flat Belly Diet relied on sunflower seeds for several breakfasts - I mean a lot of sunflower seeds. And I would have mystery tummy distress, finally put it together and quit that.

You've gotten a lot done, Ivy.

I need to make up a little bag for travel in case there's an early call from dd34. I understand she was disappointed when the midwife said, "see you next week" because she doesn't think there's going to be a next week. I don't know if dd15 would be going with me. Chances are she would miss several days of school and that makes a bigger difference in 10th grade than it did at last birth of a nephew during the a school year.

I'm considering heading out to visit dfirstmil tomorrow morning. She is unhappy because she had things to give to dd34 and now there won't be a chance before the birth. Only 3 hours round trip. Right before looking at an 8 hour round trip when baby arrives. I hope my sciatic nerve is in shape now.
