So far, so good. My bag arrived last night. I stayed up for a call from the driver, and then went to bed and left the tag and receipt on the door. It arrived the wee hours of the morning (they said it would arrive around 3 a.m.) and sat on my porch until proper morning. I suspected something like this would happen last night but didn't want to post that here.
No bodily fluids have been deposited on the floor this morning! I took both dd16 and GG to school. I have s2s-ed and had my first cuppa tea. I'm off to a better start today.
It is gray out. I hope the window washers will come. I'm not ready for them yet, so I'm going to move plants that are in front of the living room windows. Public spaces are the priority.
Later today:
- pick up GG at 2:30
- go to graduation locale at 4 for photos; I learned with ds that you can only take photos of the students in caps and gowns before the ceremony - though, now that I'm thinking about it, there haven't been warnings to that effect this year and there were ds' year. Do I risk taking photos afterward??
- graduation is 6 - 8.
. . . This sat here while I took a call from dh who is boarding the plane to come home. He'll go straight to his office once here.
I called the window washers. It sounds like they are iffy about today - it is supposed to start raining late morning, which is why I thought they might be here already. . . No, he said he was going to be calling me soon to find out if I still wanted my windows done. It is almost 9 a.m. and they have a bit of a commute from their town. I really thought they would have started bright and early. As dh says, they're clearly not too hungry.
OK, off to move plants, tidy kitchen, start laundry, etc. . .
