Went out and walked 2 miles w/dh & ds (and dgs)... s2s... post office, bank, grocery store, and supper.
DS will be back in an hour or so to leave dgs with me so ddil can sleep and he and dh can go to high school football game.
DDIL is going to be home alone w/dgs all weekend, so ds wants to let her rest tonight.
DH is frustrated b/c ddil may want ME to keep dgs next Saturday as well, while ds goes to college game w/dh & she stays home to rest, b/c she may work two shifts Sunday. We don't know for certain yet if she will have the extra shift or not. DH gets sooo frustrated w/this for several reasons, but the main thing is not knowing if we have an extra ticket to sell or not.
And then daunt called this afternoon and wanted extra tickets! BUT -- dcousin wants SIX tickets, and at the very best, we might have three, but it is unlikely we will have more than one. And we don't know until ddil tells us. So... yes... dh is very frustrated.
Also frustrated b/c we will have dgs Sunday night, "our ONLY night to go to a movie" b/c ds will be out of town tomorrow & Sunday, and ddil will be working Sunday night. * sigh * I have very little sympathy in that regard, b/c if dh were not so determined to watch the Braves go down in flames, we would have EVERY night to go to movies.
OH -- and ds wanted to know if dgs could spend the night with us the weekend of his birthday (next month) so they could go out, possibly overnight trip, maybe just a date night. No problem there except that is our anniversary weekend, (35th) and dh said, "Well, we usually go somewhere on our fifth year anniversaries..." * sheesh * I really do NOT care, and I have told dh repeatedly that between the trip to California in Jan. and the George Strait concert, I feel that my 35th year of wedded bliss has been quite well commemorated.

Besides, the only places I would really like to go are places that dmom would say, "Ooohhh... I want to go there again someday..." and then I would feel sooo guilty for not taking her. We told ds to go ahead and plan on treating ddil to a weekend then.
I understand ddil getting overwhelmed w/being alone w/dgs for extended time... but OTOH... he IS their baby, and they think they want another one??? Nancy -- will you have yours 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, when dd (ddil?) starts back to school? It is exhausting, I know. I don't get a thing done when dgs is here.
Don't get much done when he's NOT here. I did manage to s/s kitchen and both baths, wrote checks for two bills, and called duncle before we went out to walk. I know I waste sooo much time. DH should hide my iPhone from me when he wakes up. Used to, I couldn't use the computer when he was on it, so I might be forced into some sort of productive activity. Now I just waste time on the phone if he has the computer tied up.
(((Harmony))) * men * sheesh *
I have Outlander on my dvr but I've only watched the first couple of episodes. I really like it though; I'll get caught up eventually. I LOVE my dvr!!!
Waving to ALL!!!
