It feels so nice to sit here with you & enjoy my mug of tea after a busy morning. Up early, zipped through my morning routine, dealt with two phone calls, then out to run errands. On my way home I noticed that all my neighbors had remembered to put out their recycling, unlike me

. I saw the recycling truck down the street & drove over & asked the driver if I still had time to put mine out. He was very nice, said yes & to take my time. I dragged the bucket to the street, tied up & added newspapers, mags & catalogs, & less than 15 minutes later they picked up.
Dh won't be home until late this afternoon. He requested tacos for dinner so I have ground beef thawing. I only did one load of laundry earlier this week so brought down what had accumulated since in the hamper & put another load in the washer. I'll finish all that up today. There's more on my to do list, but I don't remember what without looking. I'm going to relax a bit first, enjoy my tea, & cuop here.
Lucylee, I read this in a magazine last night & thought of you & other allergy sufferers here. A reader had written in & said: "I used to struggle with allergies in both fall and spring, until I discovered the power of local raw honey. I add a little to sweeten oatmeal and coffee, and I put it on toast almost every day. And if I go through the day without it, I just eat a spoonful right before bedtime. I haven't had an allergy issue in years." (I'll post this in H&F, too).
Hope you all are having a wonderful day!
PS -- Hi
Cats!
It's so good to see you.
