Harriet... I did all my wah-ups yesterday including extra blankets, sheets and down comforter. Worked around the house doing closets and such until after 7pm when I finally ran out of steam.
Tried on all my clothes from my "some day" closet and all fit, including my pant suits except for one pair of pants...I can wear them, but they are a bit tight around the waist. Few more pounds gone and they should be good to go. I all but cried as I tried on piece after piece never thinking that this day would really come. I have 5 jackets/coats that I am taking to a clothes swap. The organization that I am now included in is putting this one because many of the women are loosing weight and don't want to spend money on clothes as they continue their weight loss journey.
Lucylee...I agree with Kathryn about the apple cider vinagar. I too have started having problems with eczema. My dr told me to quit taking daily showers and to use only warm water, but sometimes I cheat. However when I do the eczema flairs up big time...I'm down to two a week, but do wash my body daily. I was told to no longer use any soap, and use cera ve washing lotion. However after some research I found Emu soap. Its not really a soap, but an oil in bar form. It has made a tremendous difference with my body. My biggest problem is on my upper arms and shoulders. Until recently I was scratching so bad that my arms were bleeding.
I also quit using much dairy as research shows it contributes to eczema. My niece, the ballet dancer, has battled her eczema for years and switched to almond milk. That calmed her flare-ups and I have noticed the same thing.
Eczema is a body yeast as well....so like Willis I find if I use the apple cider vinagar on my affected areas I get better relief that other otc sprays. If it makes your scalp feel as good as my arms I think you will like it...plus after a few minutes the odor goes away.
I have an eye dr's appointment this afternoon and still have some morning desk work to do.
Dee...I will be going on Medicare early next year and am beginning to reserch supplimental policies. Sweetie's switch was easy. He never gets sick and doesn't care what dr he sees. I on the other hand need to stay with my same headache dr and am not willing to switch. I have a friend who is using a health care broker who is coming to her house to explain which policy will work best for her situation. I told my friend if she is pleased with this person then I wil set up an appointment with her as well.
Got to go...the suction componate of my computer is beginning to turn on...gotta scram before it gets to me. Tootals.....
Ooops...forgot to add, my son IS coming for Thanksgiving and he's bring his girl, so I am in a continuance state of doing the Happy Dance. I am so excited that after listening to me spout her praises that Sweetie will finally get to meet her. Keeping my fingers crossed extra tight cause I really believe...she's the ONE
Forgot to add... Emu soap
