Good Afternoon, Everybody! :D

I didn't get up until 10:40 A. M. :!: However, I'm ill, needed my sleep, since I had very little on Wednesday night/wee Thursday a.m. I also had a nap today, too. I've been sort "lost" on my laptop, while listening to FM classical radio music, from Seattle. :P 1 LOL is drying! At least I did something today. ;) I've been doing emails, catching up, and downloaded 2 free e-books, and worked on calendar reminders. My colonoscopy would have been yesterday, I wrote PODA's ahead, so they all say 'things' about taking it easy today, but I didn't have it yesterday and the PODA is not "right". I'm enjoying my classical music so much today. I was trained in classical piano music in grade/high school, did rehearsals, got adjudicated, and the whole 9 yards. I adore this music, so while typing, my keying on the keyboard goes faster and FASTER with the music, and I get SO CARRIED AWAY! :o   But I'm having "FUN"! ;)

We're eating leftovers tonight, for dinner, DH will get out an Omaha Meats meat, for dinner tomorrow. :P :P It's so nice to have these choices. ♥

The weather's dry, cloudy, dark, dismal, but at least we're not freezing, which is so nice! I "feel" for many of my pen pals, a few family members, the Villagers, their families, and all, too. I've been through ice storms, etc.. and it's not "fun". :( :( My heart goes out to all of you! Stay warm, keep and be safe, too, and know this is temporary, it'll pass. Think Spring! 8-) I know how a lot of people plan out their spring gardening, at times like these, or start their garden journals, browse seed catalogs or go on-line for ideas, too. I have a gardening journal, which I started, planned in it, but I never really got back "into" gardening like I'd planned on doing. I'm hoping, this year, for better preparations. DH has done well, with what we naturally have growing here, or brought over from the old house, 10 1/2 years ago. I think it's so fun to plan ahead, especially in mid-winter, in the New Year, if it's nasty outdoors. Does anyone else have a gardening journal? :?: :?:

Oh, my. This classical music does have me rambling a bit way too much! Sorry! Yesterday was my worst day, I'm feeling better today, and am happy because I got a NEW pen pal, born in 1942, and she's wonderful! She said I wrote her a long time ago, so I don't remember when it was, but my "guess" is October. I really liked her letter, so will reply soon.

Have a great Friday night, Everybody! :D

Love the Conga opening. I'm not doing a conga, though. I'm coughing pretty badly. Went back to bed this morning, after running out on the porch in my nightgown and bare feet, Brrrrrr!, to call DH back to get his lunch. Something told me to check the refrigerator when I heard him go out, and sure enough he'd forgotten his lunch. I would have hated having to bring that out to him today.

Ill helper called about his paycheck, said he needed food, that he was out, and I felt so bad for him. :o I offered him a can of soup while he was here getting his $ but he said no he was going right off to the sandwich shop across the street. Man.

DH is still very sick, though he is working. I'm sure that's why he isn't better by now. I worked on forms and stuff for the new year. I had quite a few problems keeping things straight this past year, so made some changes on my forms. I hope that helps.

DH pulled off the island and I made 2 trips out there so he could get all 3 trucks home. Then we took one out to other end of county and left there where he'll be putting in half a day tomorrow. It was about 2 1/2 hours of driving. After we got home we washed all the windows in 3 vehicles inside & out. He was having trouble driving into the sun with the haze.

I must clean up the house tomorrow. He had scheduled that bonfire for tomorrow, weeks ago, before we were both sick. He's expecting at least 10 people (some are parents) and that means I must put in an appearance and provide drinks. I'm sure not in the mood for this.

Blessed, I'm sorry DD has had to give up her studies for a while. I hope her time with the therapy works out.

I hope everybody else who is not feeling well gets better quickly. This flu this winter is the pits. I asked DH if he wanted to consider the flu shot in the future and he just shook his head no. Well, we'll see.

I need to tidy the kitchen and head to bed. Long day tomorrow. And I think I'm getting an eye inflammation. Just realized it might be the source of my headache. Really not feeling 100% here, although I felt fine during the walk.

(((Harmony))) + (((Katherine)))... Get Better SOON!

I'm totally wiped now that I ate dinner! I put away 1 LOL, did 1 journal exercise, and emails. I put some notes on my FlyLady calendar, in my office, for myself, and now, at 7:19 p.m., I feel like I could fall asleep! :? :( I need to write my PODA, for tomorrow. Several days ago, I'd been planning on my colonoscopy for this week, so I had this "brilliant" idea. Why not write several PODA's out, ahead of time, to save on time later. :?:   So I did, ended up with a stack of list pads, which I keep in my corner of the kitchen, where nobody can see them from the dining room or great room. I keep bringing out 1 list pad, nightly, and since I'd written them all several days ago, "things" to DO, changed from back then, to tomorrows, ALL WEEK! :? I've tried this before, too; like prior to Christmas. It didn't work then either. Why did I forget it so soon. :?: :?: :?: Maybe it's this virus? Blame everything on that.

DH is watching boxing now. They've been very good matches. :P :P

Have a good night, Everyone! Have a good weekend, too! :D

TTFN. :)

Good evening! Here is a list of things I know now that I did not know yesterday:
1. The low oil light works on my car
2. Location of fuse panel on a 2003 Taurus
3. Location of spare fuses in same
4. Location of fuse puller (seeing a trend yet?)
5. Which fuse goes to the 'you're lights are on' beeper and the glovebox light
6. Which fuse goes to my dashboard lights
7. The problem with my dashboard lights is not a fuse (so much for the easy fix)

After DD12 gets here tomorrow and we eat, there is a trip to the auto parts store, where they have in stock the necessary dashboard light bulbs and radio puller to get to some screws to tilt out the dash. I am putting off calling Elizabeth's Own Plumbing Company until Elizabeth's Own Auto Repair finishes its job. I have a glass under the faucet and will use the water when I take my pills, so I am not wasting it. It is not such a large drip (yet) that it overflows.

I need to spend some time with my checkbook now, but I really want to play Scrabble. Maybe as a reward? I need to get to bed at a reasonable time too. Decisions, decisions.

ETA: I did spend some time with my checkbook, and I have ~$80 for the next two weeks. The good thing is that this is a positive number and all bills are paid.
