I carry a little 3 x 5 - (1/4 to 1/2" wide) calendar book in my purse which has enough room to write what will happen during the day. The old Stephan Covey ones don't work for me because I have my cards and it clutters "my" brain lol- I try to keep up with writing what I did that day as one of my d sis in laws has done for years. Its a nice way to look back - sometimes I will write if it was a hard day because when I look back I have less of those (always God willing) and have so many more special moments - even if a friend drops by I put it in there.
I have a basic pretty calendar on the kitchen pantry door (a Lang cherry frame to it) - nothing but major events that I know are ahead - pick up someone at the airport etc. no regular visits etc. Birthdays and anniversaries are also on this. I do a check when the day is over but otherwise it's pretty empty.
Friday:
Yesterday I painted a rosemaled (simple) card for a dear older aunt and uncle in law and will send it out today.
today is garbage day... I wonder what I can get rid of before they come
