dd younger has had a really hard day...She has tremors and her body is shaking...they have no idea why. Pain level is at a 9 (and for her say it's a 9 it must be bad). Glad I was here. We have been in the doctors office since 1:00 and it is now 2:35ish

Time to go back to paperwork.

Didn't get much done but did get something settled.

Finally made up a cheque and letter for the farmer who used to plow our driveway. He last billed us for 2009/10 so I had to guestimate 1) how many plows and 2) how much to pay per plow. I found a website with the total snow fall for each winter and worked it out from there.

Did some data entry but didn't finish it because I was distracted by the super coming to repair the noisy radiator fan. That's done now and he sealed the front door as best he can to stop the smoke from coming in. We'll still have to block the bottom of the door because otherwise the door wouldn't swing over our mat.

Found out that in a power failure we 1) have radiant heat, 2) have hot and cold water, 3) have lights in hall and stairs, 4) elevators work, & 5) the garage door works. Yay! Just no way to cook but aside from that we'll be comfy.

Still need to finish up in MBR but did more stamp steps so I could do two full rows. Need to move on to other tasks....

-finish straightening up MBR, empty my suitcase and put away
-refill meds containers
-ck mother's bank balance and credit card balances online and download
-go outside and pick up dog poop in yard
-reboot laundry

Back from Realtor office to deliver the abstract and sign contract for selling house/land. This is like a dream sale for us. No home inspection. No termite treatment. The only thing required for us to do is less than $500 of repairs to be done. They said to leave whatever we wanted, don't worry about cleaning up the barns. However, we still have about a gazillion loads of stuff to get out of there. If we close in 2 weeks it is going to be right down to the wire to get it done. I called DBro and let him know about the contract. DBro horse and donkey are still on the land.

Did I tell you that we got DH vehicle out of the shop yesterday......drove it about 10 miles then it wouldn't start. Had to call a tow truck last night to haul it back to the shop. I think this has been the worse episodes of vehicle repairs we have ever gone through. They are really throwing a kink in our moving ability/speed.

Next up = Day 27 of the tickle file processed

Yesterday dh insisted that we go to neighboring small town, 30 minutes away to their carpet store. We brought home samples but aren't happy with the quality. We went to 2 places here in town today and brought home more samples. The 2nd stores sample is inferior to all the others we have. At the 1st store today we brought home samples and they are pricier. It is suppose to snow a little tomorrow. I need to stay home and clean house. Then on Thursday we can go back to the little town and return samples and look again. The 78 year old owner was very nice but it was hard to look with him talking non-stop. We need to get this carpet selection figured out.

I went to the dentist today and spent an hour in the chair. Once they had the new bridge placed they had to do a lot of grinding to adjust it to my bite. In several places on the new bridge the metal is showing. So they started grinding on my upper crowns. I am wondering if they damaged them. Even though they polished them when they were done, there are still edges that are rough and I keep scraping my tongue on them. The tissue under the temporary was not healed, so back to salt/water rinses 4 times a day. Also, after I left there I realized there is a gap between my gum and the bridge on the inside of my jaw. I can stick my tongue part way in there. Sorry if TMI. Dh told me to switch dentists but this bridge has a 5 year warranty and if I switch dentists that would most likely void it. With this gap, I will probably have issues with food getting under there. I am hoping the gum will eventually expand or whatever to that bridge. I go back for a 6 month cleaning on the 19th, so I will have questions for them, then.

Congratulations on the dream sale of your house/land, LadyMaverick.

I haven't a clue how I ended up with 4 of the same post. Please remove three of them, if at all possible.

Quick C. I.--- Having a good, productive day today, my book on braids was shipped today and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Lost a pen pal, from today's mail. You win some; you lose some. Been at it for over 20 years now, so it's a pattern, how some come into our lives, stay a long time, and some don't quite "click" with you, and bow out. No bad feelings or anything. It's just life. We all get too busy, sometimes, too.

It started out early this a.m., with showers, but it's dry now. The birds are delightful, too.

Have a great later afternoon - evening! :D
