On Ramblin's learning style test

Auditory: 0%
Visual: 80%
Tactile: 20%

However, I notice that many of these multiple choice possibilities lead the introvert to choose visual-style answers, so that may figure in to a high visual score. Yes, I would look at a map, for instance, rather than seek out new people. It will be people who will distract more than things. The reason I wouldn't choose an amusement park with a group has to do with introversion, I believe.

Very true, Harriet! I realized I was choosing answers sometimes based on my phobias, too.

After every ball game, dniece calls dbil and they have long drawn out conversations... Sweet, but kinda annoying, too. Dbil asks sooo many questions.

And how long can two men discuss the merits of This Parking Lot over That One... Or maybe the Other One.. ?
A pretty long time, I can assure you.
Oh. My. Goodness.
Tomorrow is another day.

lucylee, I remember many times while you were still teaching that you would list your after school activities. Many, many times you listed going to the pharmacy, first for your dfil and then your dmil. Also, picking up their evening meals on a daily basis. You can tell your dh that too, in case he has forgotten. You were a devoted ddil and now it is his turn.

Hello Everyone... I read today's posts with interest. Loud constant noise is distracting or annoying ; it is hard to focus on anything specific. I can also relate to Lucy's comment: "YES. YES." My mind just wanders off into crazy tangents all the time.

LadyM, I wanted to tell you that my dgd17 was on Concerta for part of elem. school through first part of high school. She said it affected her appetite and sometimes made her tired. But she could focus better and did much better in school. She is not taking anything at this time. I'm thinking that this is a common side effect of this type of meds.

I also found out only a couple of years ago that ds#3 had trouble focusing and his brain was busy all the time. We never realized anything could be wrong; he was on the honor roll all though school, in gifted classes, relatively quiet and well behaved. Somehow he had figured out how to work around all the confusion and busyness of all those extra thoughts.

(((Harmony & dh))). Sure hope you both will start to feel better! You are in my thoughts every day!

((Dee)), I'm so sorry for the loss of your dfriend.

Harriet, do your hens go outside in the snow? I'm sure you'll be glad when spring comes and there's no more ice storms! Be safe if you must go out in the coming weather!

RRose, thank you for the links, good information there.

Today: Two lol done; a cabinet in the dining room emptied, cleaned and reorganized; some general decluttering done in bedrooms and one closet reorganized. All in all a good day.

We're supposed to get some rain the next few days.

I definitely will be reminding dh that it is now his turn, Lilac... but maybe not tonight.
We were talking about tomorrow -- the weather is threatening and we have the antique lady scheduled to come meet with us at dmil's.
DH told me to check with the antique lady FIRST tomorrow, b/c if she wants to come earlier, that will change time frame for checking on dmom. DH said, "I can get you out to your mother's anytime, but ___ may want to come in the morning if the snow hasn't started."
I said, "You don't mind going out to Mother's with me?" -- and he said no, that would be fine, so maybe Monday just had him all out of sorts.
Tomorrow is another day.
