Elizabeth: thanks for answering that. We tried "wiggly line" and finally "on my keyboard it is shift back quote next to the 1/! but after I realized he might have known what I was talking about if I said 'the accent over the n in el nino.'

Waiting for propagation of the DNS table to happen. Not sure how long we need to wait. We've tried from here, our Vancouver proxy server and "Downforeveryone" but none are showing it. Dh wonders if he needs to consult with the support at our current server host company since the redirect/propagation happens through our existing account. Glad we are doing things the way we are doing it because it means when we finally move our URL over you all won't have to wait for the propagation to happen.

If you want to follow along at home, what we are doing right now is setting up a new address at bb.shesorganized.org and set things up there, then point to it from our existing URL.

My hair has been henna'd and the grey bits are quite blonde this time (I have been mixing neutral and wheat blonde but this time used only the blonde and left it on longer.)

I have 4 more months to go to finish up the account reconciliation I was whining about this morning. I worked on that while my hair was being stained.

Lots of things cancelled here and apparently, no issues with icy roads so far.

Continuing to try to get at least something done...
-empty crumbs in dog food bin into garbage and refill
-go upstairs and find cards to send to two cousins with the photos from mother's birthday in Jan and write a note
-make the bed
-straighten up MBR
-make soup

Assuming the weather holds, I might go on and see dmom this afternoon. So far this bad weather is a bust for us.

Iced in today, and THOROUGHLY glad of it, after my crazy long day w/dmom yesterday.
No loss of electricity so far, so all is well.
Haircuts cancelled, rescheduled for next week.
Need to visit my colorist also.
Tomorrow is another day.

Had lunch and finished reconciling the account so I can cross another item off my to-do list. Only one more to reconcile but this one has about 20 - 30 transactions per month so takes ages to do and I have 12 months to enter.

Asked dh where the prescriptions were for our travel meds and he said they faxed them to the pharmacy so he called and they'll be made up today. That's another errand to do (but a walking one and it is a sunny if cold day out.) BTW it got above freezing yesterday so that stopped the days in a row below freezing at 39. Today it doesn't look like it will get that high. But we'll still get out for a walk because I have 3 errands that need to be run in the neighbourhood.

I visited colorist this morning too. A few days early, but I wanted to take advantage of having more time available on a slower paced snowy day.

Lunch was almost effortless - fish sticks for LO, Hot wings for DH and I plus tator tots. I just put everything on a baking sheet an put it in the oven to cook.

This afternoon LO has counselor appt. I think the roads will be cleared enough to safely drive. In prep for the appointment, I just pulled out LO psychological evaluation and read it again. I'm glad I did. I mis-read it before. I thought LO was below average on intellectual functioning. However the summary says "average for his grade and above average compared to others at his age level". Doesn't really matter because we will do our best to help LO with whatever IQ he has, but I can't deny a feeling of relief of one less hurdle.

I recently tried freeze-dried coffee for a quick afternoon drink. I had heard freeze-dried coffee tasted horrible so I stayed away from it. I'm pleasantly surprised how much I like the taste & enjoy drinking a hot cup of water with it in the afternoon and evening (decaf).

I have done only part of that round but I think I will gather up and go visit mother now. Temp is dropping but rain/precipitation has stopped. Might be an issue on some of the back roads near her house, but I'd like to go on today.

I will drop notes at the post office as I go by. When I get back home, just need to reheat soup. add frozen corn and let it simmer a little.

Macs hasn't walked - will try to bundle up and do that later. Moe just followed me upstairs when I went to get the note cards, hobbled all the way but wanted to be with me. He seems to have some spirit back.

ToddlerN has a cough today it has not warmed up as much as I hoped it would by now.

/Whining Alert Skippable/
I am not happy with the place the picked for an alternate meeting sight meeting for spinning group on Sat. I do not think there is room for wheels there do not think I would take mine but it would have been nice to have that for an option. This is one meeting I was planning on skipping anyway. Also it is about as far away from my house as you can get. /stop whining now/

Hello Dear Ladies,

The day started out very cold but has warmed up and THE SUN IS OUT. The ice and snow are melting away.

Been spending most of my time helping with DH's taxes. He marks just about everything business related as BUSINESS in his checkbook register. I have to go through it, make a spreadsheet and catagorize everything, sometimes asking him what was this for. Have made it through August so I am making progress.

I take time for myself most days, do my exercises, take a soak in the tub with a book and then shower.

Another work day for me too.

Anyway the house continues to wave to me, I got the dishes and laundry done today and made lunch but the floors and bathrooms are complaining about being ignored. Oh well their day will come I keep telling them.

Off to an adventure at work!

Great day to all!

Back home for a second time. DD and dh got home around 2 o'clock. She was tired but otherwise pretty good. Then about an hour and a half ago someone threw a switch. She came in to rouse us as she intense pain behind her left eye, it was swollen and had severe itching allover. Called the Dr. and he prescribed prednisone for her -which we now finally have and she's started the regimen. Wants her to continue the antibiotic and the Tylenol w/codeine.

Taking my meds for the evening and going to fix myself something for dinner. The guys have P ublix spicy fried chicken on Thursday nights. DD and I normally go to Trivia and have a bite there. Haven't had it for the last 2 weeks as our leader's DGF passed away in Ohio. Think we didn't go the week before that either as dd was away for her Daytona classes. Can't go next week as she's going (with dh) to a Florida Southern/Mercyhurst lacrosse game. She hopes to reach one of Mercyhurst's players (it's his last year and has the same exact name as our dgs10 who plays lacrosse for the FCA -Fellowship of Christian Athletes). She's hoping for an autograph for dgs -anything to keep encouraging those kids.
