Lynlee if you go to the Colorize It website I linked to in on the first page today, you can decide what looks most pleasing to your eye.

Before I knew I could customize the colors, I went with the grey since the blue really bothered me. But once I made up a purple for myself, I'm happy and feel more at home. With this subsilver, I also get the names along the left hand column of the PWYC screen, instead of the right hand side. So there's a lot less for me to get used to with my purple style.

I'm baking birthday cakes right now. Dd's is while I'm away but dsil is tomorrow and this is the first time since they've been married I could bake them cakes. They get the same cake since my recipe makes two!

I over-filled the cake pans and now the cakes are cooking properly. Sigh.....

We had a store-cooked chicken. I started the veggies before we left and we walked over to the store and got the chicken and walked home. It was just under freezing (and since we were walking after dark, I'm guessing it got above freezing today.) It was lovely for it not to be bitterly cold. On Wednesday, we get to walk in hot weather. I'd say just 4 more sleeps but Monday and Tuesday nights are overnights on the plane so I don't expect to sleep.

The movie selection of this airline is amazing and we can print off the movie lists. The second flight has less selection so we printed off both and will save the ones only on the second plane for that and watch others on the first flight. The flights are 12:50 and 10+ hours.

Twins: to reset your password,

go to user control panel
go to profile
go to account settings.

There's something new called Manage "Remember Me" log in keys. Not sure how they work but it might be why people are having trouble. It looks like you might be able to use one of those if you successfully got in on a tablet or phone, when using your computer.

Before resetting your password, try resetting cookies.

I think switching between computer, laptop, tablet, phone without having logged out previous device might be a problem, the way I struggled to understand it.

I did some play with the colour changing site Kathryn. I'm holding my head and eyes are popping. I think I'll call it quits for now, though maybe a different skin might work better for me. Just trying the ... left one. I'll see if it has unread posts. I liked that button and special edition ps2 didn't seem to have it..

Just found this on another help forum, perhaps it will help those of you having problems:
After I had the upgrade to 3.1.3 installed I found that I could not log in, it kept reverting to log in screen, by accident I realised that I was actually logged in all the time!! I clicked on a section and it opened fine but as soon as I had left the forum, it all began over again.

1. Delete all references to your forum from the desktop and remove all references in your favs/bookmarks in you browser.
2. Open browser and type in forum address in the address bar
3. Log in as normal, and you will find it works fine. Staying on this page, bookmark or add to favourites then cut and paste or 'send to: desktop (create shortcut)' and then close browser down completely.
4. Click on link on desktop and it works fine!!

I'm here after a couple tries. When I couldn't get site to come up I went to email and saw your message (thank you) and tried the update browser thing. Glad you explained that for me! I just typed in the same message and hit the F5 update button and there it was. But I had to do it really fast before it redirected to the old non-existant.

Well, this purple is really bright! It's not quite the same as the social phobia I was using, and I HATE CHANGE, but I'll try this for a while. Last eve. as I was reading I had to change to the one with left in the title because I felt odd with the pictures on the right! I also had to increase my letter sizes because print was so tiny, but I did that here with my ctrl and mouse wheel. My eyes don't do tiny any more!

So, I haven't really felt well the past 3 days. All the running around with DH and considering really important decisions to make just wore me out. I wasn't able to get to sleep very early last eve. or the night before and was tired for 2 days in a row.

Today I just didn't feel like cooking. We have mostly all homemade meals, meat and veggies, and use very little pre-packaged foods...but that is a lot of work and a lot of planning and cleanup. I just felt burned out with it all and asked DH if we could just have pancakes today. So we had very unhealthy meal of pancakes with syrup and bacon and sausage. And I felt like I was in heaven. Tomorrow I'll go back to cooking again.

Kathryn, thank you for the site work. I can't imagine doing all this with sermons to write and a trip looming.

Oh, and everybody remember to set your clocks ahead 1 hour (if you're on daylight savings time) tonight or you'll be one hour late tomorrow for wherever you're going!

There's Sunny, hello! Did you ever get over your shingles? I sure hope so.

Peeking in - because I can! :)

Most of today was spent prepping for small group and then hosting it. I went to the groc. store, made up a HUGE amount of white chicken chili, spiffed the living room and main bathroom, set out plates, etc. - and then we hosted people here from 5:20 - 9:15. Fortunately, people arrived late. Unfortunately, this also meant they left late.

We had sunshine and temps in the upper 30s today. We're forecast to be in the 40s, maybe even the 50s, most days this coming week - with possibly a lot of sunshine. Everyone is SO happy about the change in weather!

We mostly eat homemade meals here too, Harmony. However, I'd consider pancakes made from scratch w/ bacon and sausage as a homemade meal.

Dh, the girls, and I went to see Jupiter Ascending last night. Reviews were correct; it was not a super great movie. It wasn't offensive. Mainly, the writing for it was poor. It had some strong actors, but they would have benefited from better dialogue. Too many plot holes to count. . . .Still, it was a fun evening out with the girls! Dd19 has now gone back to her dorm. Ds gets back in town tomorrow night. He'll go straight to his house on campus so we won't see him at all this spring break.

Not looking forward to an hour less sleep tonight.

Hello, I made it here a little while ago, have cuop in J & C and today, so far. I got the email last night and tried several times today to find our site using my bookmark link, which didn't work. Finally this evening I just typed the address and it worked. Then once I remembered my pw I was able to sign in. I didn't have to delete cookies or anything. I did delete the old bookmarked link and made a new one, so I'm all set again. Thank you Kathryn and dh for all the time you have spent on this so we all can have our special place to be together!

I've tried all the board styles. My favorite color is aqua, but I chose the prosilver special edition. The gray is restful to my eyes.

To answer your question, Harmony, yes, I seem to be over the shingles. The blisters are all healed, though I do have a few scars. Thank you for asking!

Dh and I were busier this past week than we have been for a good while. Last Sunday we went to dcousin-S and her dh for dinner and evening visit. Tuesday I went to see her again and we went for our annual girls day out. Lunch out was a Greek salad then a shopping trip to a newly opened Trader Joe's, which was nice. Wednesday I did a "Friday Conga" and got all weekly tasks done, plus some focus work in kitchen done.

Thursday dh and I met my dboycousin-B and his dwife at Cracker Barrel for lunch. We haven't seen each other in almost 40 years. It was a nice reunion; we sat inside and talked for a couple of hours. No one tried to hurry us. I had asked if they wanted to come home with us for a while, but we ended up sitting on the porch on those nice rockers to continue our visit. We didn't get home until 7 pm! :) There was a lot to catch up on!!!

We got to talk with all three of our boys this week. Ds#2 called Thurs. evening to check on us and also ask if we could take dgd13 to school Friday morning -- which we did. Friday around 11 am ds#3 called. He was on his way to work in D.C. (used his phone's speaker while driving). Their schools were closed Thur and Fri. They got 6 inches of snow on Thursday and govt offices were closed, so he worked at home. But it took him and dgd13 several hours to dig out his car and clear the driveway, so he got a late start. He and his dfamily will be here the first week in April on Spring break. We can't wait to see them!

Today we spent the afternoon and evening with dfamily#1. We hadn't seen them for about 6 weeks. Nice visit there, too! Hopefully we will see ds#2 and his family tomorrow.

I'm happy that some of us have made it here and hope the rest will be here soon without any trouble!

I was able to get here via my k kindle & the new password but not my computer so far. If I remember right, the last time we changed I had lots of trouble too. I almost thick it had something to do with "time". I'll try again later when I'm more coherent. Thanks, Kathryn for your help. Did I mention I hate time change? Been awake for hours trying to find by ure out what time it was. Probably won't post much till I figure out the computer. Will see if I can figure out a different browser.
