Hi! Checking in from my grey drizzley home.

Sorry to read Lucylee's ddil has covid. Something to manage and hopefully not catch.

I could tell from the reporting this storm wasn't going to be a hurricane. What we had yesterday trying to get home with our load of groceries was pretty bad. My clothes were soaked through and all the bags of food were soaked... And it was a slow ride home through puddles. But we all dried out and so far today there's nothing to worry about. It'll be around for a couple days so we'll see what it brings.

Spent the afternoon in the kitchen. Organized and sorted the refrigerator and freezer. I made a homemade chicken pot pie, a 9x13 pan, in the oven now. Sunny did a sinkful of dishes, thank goodness.

Good afternoon! I have not gotten a lot accomplished, though I did get the air mattress inflated. It is... sort of... holding air. DC has turned the pump on again once, and I only got the mattress up around noon. The pump is LOUD. We won't be able to use it in the middle of the night. So I've been looking online; Wally World has one of the sort that has a secondary, quiet pump to keep it inflated continuously for a smidge under $100. I am regretting not taking the hit and canceling the room at this hotel in favor of the other one. Still, $200 is a lot of money -- even $100 is nothing to sneeze at!

Glad LadyM is feeling "normal"; prayers for blessed's DH and lucylee's DDIL and DH and all others who are not. Glad Harmony has only drizzle to deal with.

One consequence of having the air mattress in the middle of the living room is that I cannot get to the long charger cord I usually use, so I am impatiently waiting for my phone, which is in the kitchen attached to a very, very short cord such that I can't do anything with it. Once it's charged, I will take it downstairs and put on a show or something to entertain me while I wash clothes.

I had a less productive day today but I have gotten 15 minutes done at a time.
I planted a pot with one salvia (tall), 4 Supertunia Bermuda beach, 4 Supertunia royal velvet, 1 green sweet potato vine, 1 superbells watermelon bunch - lovely. I got the idea from Laura of Garden answer!

added some supertunia white to the agapanthus
