I slept well last night, probably because I took two advil and a benydryl. I was aching - was on my feet a lot of Sat and then sat around a lot yesterday.
I'm not super motivated today, although I am trying to focus.

Re: Veggie Tales Monday
Happy Birthday, helia!
Ya'll stay aware - HRH has a bunch of chigger (maybe sand flea but I think chigger is more likely) bites from his long walk yesterday. He suspects a small pine tree stand with much pine straw underneath, that he walked alongside rather briefly. If he's right (and it does make sense), he was ambushed in just a short amount of time so thank goodness he was continuously walking, not on a leisurely nature hunt or anything. I know that there can be a year/season when chiggers are way more prevalent than other years. This was not late in the day, either.
I stayed with the boys for a few hours today while dd traveled to a going-away luncheon her staff held for her - very nice of them. Her boss was there and bosses' boss made an appearance and thanked her for various projects. They found out, in between the time she tendered her resignation and now, that they won their most recent grant (an application she wrote), so she's going out on a high note, knowing they have positive things happening.

Re: Veggie Tales Monday
Home from the city. It is rare for me to shop IRL at WMart. DD11 wanted to shop there because they had all the various categories of items that she wanted to purchase with her money. DH went with us and volunteered to stay with DD11 as she went from section to section to find all the items she wanted. Normally I enter the store with a mission to get my list items and get out. This was a rare time that I walked the grocery aisles looking at everything.
I was surprised to see about half the people wearing masks in WMart. Our county is still rated green (low covid) so it isn't because of a big rise here. About half of those wearing masks had them underneath their chin with nose & mouth uncovered. I just don't get that. Why? ANYway, I haven't seen that many masks in a long time. Maybe WMart shoppers wear masks and Sam's shoppers don't? That makes no sense to me.
It is 5pm and I haven't been home enough today to cook the meatloaf/potatoes. I stopped at Chinese restaurant and brought supper home = Orange chicken, Hot & Spicy Chicken, General Chicken, and Chicken Lo-Mein.

Had a a V-8 for my veg for dinner.
