HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO
MR. & MRS. TWINS!!! How sweet of dd & ds to send flowers! They sound beautiful.
This laptop having tantrums is making me think of putting it in a box and mailing it to LucyLee. I think she has the right idea of how to take care of it.
Yep,
LadyM... sometimes that's all you can do! (Well, actually, I'd probably put it in the trash, or since that's not environmentally safe, I'd put it in a closet or the outside storage room, where it would wait till dh was ready for a trip to the dump... which I realize as I'm typing that, is the
exact same thing as putting it in the trash! Maybe that is why I have... let me see... a monitor, desktop, two speakers, and at least one hard drive sitting in the closet right beside me at this point. Sigh.)
Good news here -- dermatologist is totally unconcerned about the spots I had him look at. Two moles, a dark spot and something else that may be a kind of wart (?) but he said none of them were suspicious looking in any way.
Additional good news -- ds IS going with us to the ballgame Saturday. This is such good news for dh & me (& the dgrands). He will help with the driving of course, but we do enjoy his company so much, and don't get a lot of chances to go to College Town with him anymore. DDIl does not want to go -- understandable, I would think, less than a week after tonsillectomy.
With 81 cards done, no, I'd say you have NOT been slacking,
LadyM!
We are not having adult Bible study tonight, since the pastor is our leader and she has Covid. I guess ds will take the dgrands; children's activities are continuing, I believe.
I like the IDEA of sound machines, but in practice, I found they somewhat annoyed me also. I absolutely LOVE the sound of natural rain when I'm trying to sleep.
Dee, that sounds like good news, that Mr. Dee is losing that much fluid. He should feel much better all around. I know dh here sometimes didn't realize he was retaining fluid so much, until he got to the doctor's office (when they were checking him every other week) and sometimes they would give him an IV with Lasix while he was there.
I cannot deal with a 5x7 tonight... I am very sleepy after the afternoon in Next Town and eating at Chick-Fil-A. * Peach milkshakes are only available for a limited time! Have to get them when I can! *
I do absolutely have to get my clothes together for the weekend tonight. I think dh wants to get our stuff packed up before tomorrow's activity begins.
I may do a 15-min declutter in the dgrands' room and finish vacuuming there, but I'm making no promises...
