Wow,
Dee, so much going on, so much to manage. You would be completely out of the loop without all of today's electronics. I can't imagine keeping track of it all. (Hugs).
Thinking about
Lucylee, DH, and DMom today.
Elizabeth, are you working out of your house again? I know you have a different job now, but didn't know if you were going to an office or not.
Why does it seem like December has so many things happening all the time?
This morning was my trip in to the endodontics' office. There are 3 in that place and my appointment was with the one who had the best notices all over the net and the one my old dental office recommended. I can sure see why. They have the best attitudes in there. All patient and calming. I went with a note from my dentist for him to let him know if there was enough tooth for restoration... and this Dr. was asking ME what I wanted to do. Huh? So we talked about MY dentist needing the recommendation from HIM. Each was saying it was up to the other guy, and the other guy was asking ME what I wanted to do. Ultimately he got on the phone with my dentist and they talked it out, and we decided to go ahead. He said he would stop if he saw it would be not a good way to proceed with restoration later... but he ended up doing the whole thing. And I did ok. Numbing was not too bad, and that was what I was worried about... procedure is like having a jack hammer up into your head.... but not painful. The thought of it is worse than what actually happened. Hard part was I had a gag reflex going on the whole time. He said just swallow...how does one do that with big pieces of hardware in one's mouth?
Anyway, it is all done and this guy said once he started in there he was pleased to see everything would be fine with restoration and was able to finish. I got orders for what to do if it was problematic upon recovering from this, but I didn't experience any of that and I actually slept all afternoon. Wow. I'm so relieved to be done with this part of it.
House is a mess. Every evening I clean up the sink somewhat and every morning I make my bed, and that's about all I've been doing. We stopped at the little marketplace on the way home and I went in and got a few things to eat.
DH went up to the used car lot and brought back his big truck.

We are going to clean it out ready to sell next time and he'll probably use it a little for this last (I sure hope) job. sigh...
I was thinking I could use some Happy Cat meds for people around here, until
Cathy said it makes some hyper! I wonder what's in it?
Interesting bit of information: The dentist today said if I got in distress from the procedure to take 600mg to 800mg advil every 4-6 hours as needed. That's supposed to be the same dosage as the prescription strength advil a dr. gives you. I bought that for DH recently when I had him to ER after the storm and I paid a whole bunch for it. Wish I'd have known.
Congratulations
Blessed for new little baby in the family. What relation to you is he?
