I would love to go back upstairs and play with deed mapping again. I've been mapping deeds for a group of men of my surname. I am descended from one of that family (confirmed by DNA0 but can't figure out where my William (1796-1863) fits in the family tree. I'm hoping that by platting my later William deeds along with the older ones, an apparent neighborhood for my William will emerge with a father candidate(s). So there's my problem needing a solution. This is something I've wanted to work on for several years, but with the portfolio I didn't have the bandwidth or the knowledge to work it efficiently. Now I have both
Immersion in the class this week has been so complete I almost feel like I've been out of town or away for a week. Dh is going to want to go to the river this afternoon but I think I'll resist. We have a dinner to attend this evening - for the out of town rabbi who was our former rabbi here.
Harriet his visit was not in connection with Holocaust remembrance day events. The January remembrance is an international designation and corresponds with the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. (Honestly, we observe Yom HaShoah with began in Israel in 1949.

Anyway, all that to say that we'll be out this p.m. with a comfortable and casual "small intimate dinner" with this rabbi. (Wonder how many are invited???) And there's nothing on the calendar tomorrow if I can make it until then.
bw2, I haven't had anything near the life you've had lately, and feel things are slipping out of control. I can only imagine how you and Dee are feeling trying to keep up.
Yes,
Dee, I think I'd be losing my mind with family coming in to be with you right now. It's probably hard for them to understand, but they aren't seeing the day to day activities that you and dh have to stay healthy through next weekend.
I would have made this week's step goal if it were last week at 49K steps for the week, but I raised it slightly and won't get there. I've gotten in the steps I have because I've walked the impatient ddog around the circle once or twice at nearly every break in the class.
Update, even before I posted: Agreement with dh that we'll go to the river awhile today, and I will have nothing on my plate except what I choose for tomorrow. (I want to go to river and see friends but I am just t.i.r.e.d.
