hello - I am definitely overwhelmed as dh will be coming home this weekend. I am just waiting for the equipment and his feeding liquids.
the great: he doesn't need oxygen anymore. That is the biggest relief for me.

Yesterday he had his biopsy so now we wait.
They said he may not ever be without a trac ever again.

it's been a month since he has been home.

I was already at the hospital this morning until early this afternoon.
I went to the grocery store for a months worth of things for the freezer. Wow groceries are expensive now.

I just wanted to say hi!!! boy you put a nickel in and get a dollar out when I talk/type.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

It doesn't seem like a month, blessed. Happy for him. What a relief he doesn't need oxygen - one thing not to have to worry about. Big ((hugs)) to you and dds.

Looking around for Dee and hoping she can check in. Not an easy weekend coming up for their extended family.

For Vitamin D, I'm certainly looking forward to March 9 which is the first day our area will have a window of opportunity to make it naturally outside. Plan to spend 10 minutes that day in my shorts outdoors for sure, weather permitting - a warm thought! I believe it's about at 12:30 but I'll check again.

It was my parents' doctor who first insisted on Vitamin D supplements in our family and on testing. We had a different office.

I've got two priority sewing projects and finished one just now, have started the next.

When I finish these, I'll start the planned-out organization of sewing space. Although unbelievably I just thought of another sort of priority. Of course.

I worked on numbers right up until the call with the grands. The first chapter of the new book was a delight. Too bad there are only 6. I read a few words ahead of my voice and burst out laughing and dgs was asking "what????" because I knew what was coming and it was hilarious. We had a lovely laugh at the story at that point.

Then dh and I headed off to the hospital for his CT scan. We arrived 20 minutes early, I dropped him, drove to Walmart, took time to reconnect my Spotify account in the car's system (tough password to enter) and as I walked into the store dh texted me he was done! I quickly did the shopping and then picked him up at the original time I expected to pick him up. We went for burgers and then came home.

I wrote that email to the residents' association board that was on my list from yesterday. I have worked only on babysitting, surface housework, and this for the past 11 days and it shows. I've accomplished a tremendous amount in that time. Which, since I've done so little over the past 3 years, it was sorely needed to be done. Half the stuff I have to prepare for the annual meeting is also done now since I attached that work for the board to look over.

Now I'm off to bed, late, but feeling grateful for the sustained energy I've managed over the past 11 days (and with a prayer I can keep it up for another 7.) I don't have dgs1.9 until Feb 9th so I want to get as much done as possible. I'm still concerned I'll get slammed with caring for an almost 2 year old for full 10 days 24/7 while dh is recovering from open heart surgery.
