Knitting class was cancelled because the teacher is sick. Ah, well... next week.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.

I tried to watch the debate on TV. What a waste of time. Between all of them talking over each other, the thick accent on one moderator (I couldn't understand anything she said) and the horrible acoustics in that building (why would they pick a place where it made everyone sound like they were echoing in a big huge cave?) I gave up listening. I don't have the bandwidth to listen to arguing anyway.

So, I called a nearby auction place to find out what we could do here with DH's stuff. I was hoping for more information and when I asked what they could do for us, I didn't get the answer I wanted. I only wanted to know what they actually do there, and how. He said he had to see what we had first. I guess he didn't understand that I didn't want to know what he was offering US, but what this company actually does do. I know they have online auctions and in place auctions but I don't know what exactly they sell.... anyway, he is coming Monday morning to look and talk with us. I hope DH is not going to nix everything because it's not what he considers fair. Fair is cleaning it out however and wherever. That's what I think.

I'm feeling less and less competent to do everything I need to do around here these days. I'm not even sure I'm taking great care of myself. So many things I just can't do any more or haven't ever. DH takes so much of my time and effort. It's easy to feel discouraged, isn't it?

Blessed, yes everything is pricey these days. I've been disappointed in fabrics for a long time. It used to be less expensive to sew one's clothes but not any more. I'm not sure it's worth the time and effort like it used to be. I wonder if Harriet is keeping track of how much it costs to get a quilt constructed these days?

I'm safely home. I'm exhausted. I have 3 meetings at the same time tomorrow night (and one at 4.30 in the afternoon.)

I have an email saying my computer part has been shipped. Huh? An IBM tech called to say he saw the part had been shipped and should be arriving last Friday. I said I was going to be away so the service call was set to this Friday. There's no attempted delivery notice from UPS in the mail room (or on my apartment door.) When I signed into my service ticket, they cancelled the service work order from September 6 and started a new one. Apparently they shipped a part but there is no shipping info so I've sent them an email that is barely polite summarizing what I've experienced over the past 4 weeks in response to my service request under my NEXT DAY ON-SITE warranty.

God knows if I'll get a reply. They didn't reply to my questions I sent last Wednesday asking for a tracking number on the shipment.

I'll cuop tomorrow. Or October 31st which, according to my calendar is my next free day. Sigh...

The full moon is lovely tonight.
I am waiting for my time slot for Rx dose.
Got to see dgd when she needed a ride tonight to her to her mom's.
It was good to see her she was stressed a bit so a brief visit while we went was best'
I got home at dusk.
I have the counters spiffed and I've been plugging away at the lz and it is looking better so that is good.
Glad I had time for a personal Bible study yesterday.
I have a package or two on the way this week they should fit in the box.

Yes, that debate WAS ridiculous. We watched it, back and forth with the Braves game, but it was impossible to understand what anyone had to say, with all the yelling over each other.

Hope the auction man works out for y’all, Harmony. That would be such a relief, to have it all DONE.

(((Kathryn))) Your computer man sounds kinds like my repair man in College Town. I’ve got to call him tomorrow. Dh just said, “He hasn’t sent an estimate, has he? How does he even know where to send the bill?
Who knows? And this has been going on a month!

Maybe we’ll learn more this weekend.
Tomorrow is another day.
