I do believe I'm about to the stopping point on the Q revision work. I'm going to review the reviewer notes and see if there's anything major left unaddressed. And I need proofread also. I'll be glad to get this back and have a break from it.

I walked ddog a lap this afternoon when she got antsy but she's antsy again.

The new refrigerator was delivered and it doesn't look too big. It does look bigger.

Hi!

Another busy day for me. I went to Walmart first, looking for foam chips to make the pillows. Nope! They didn't have them, but I did get a couple of food items. Then off I went to a grocery store in our town that carries the cat litter I have been using for years and the only grocery store to carry powdered dishwasher soap. I also needed milk, and they have "lower" prices, allegedly.

When I got home dh wanted to go to a "specialty" grocery store that I don't really like. I decided I should go with him because I've been saying no to him too often lately. Dh ended up buying us a really nice t bone steak for supper tonight.

We came home and I decided to lay down in the bed because dh said he was going to lay down. Laying down together to read for a bit is still togetherness, and he likes me to be with him, even if it's laying on the bed reading or going for a drive or sitting and watching the news. I ended up falling asleep to the sounds of a football game. Fast forward to 5 p.m.

5 p.m. is usually when I am putting supper on the table and calling him to the table...

Dh had already put the potatoes on the BBQ before I woke up. After I woke up, he took the steak out to the BBQ. The really nice t bone.
After a few moments I decided to take out the temperature probe just incase he wanted to use it. He came out of the garage and opened the BBQ. That really nice steak was encased in flames. I glanced down at the temperature control knobs. They were slightly lower than the 600 degrees or whatever the high temp is on the BBQ. Dh turned the steak over and it was completely charred!! For the second time in our marriage, I saw a steak fly through the air and land in the grass. He said "I only went into the garage for a minute!"

We shared 3 baked potatoes for supper. Dh is sulking on the couch. At least Montreal won the football game. Dh strongly dislikes the Hamilton team and they lost, so dh is happy about that. More in MO.

Oh, no Cathy! Doesn't bode well for dh out there grilling our steaks tonight. I'm about to starve to death.

I'm reading and trying to find out about this refrigerator's bells and whistles.

Tomorrow we have an afternoon concert at the temple. Wouldn't bother me if we found a reason not to go, but whatever. Realized I need to reschedule my Tuesday workout - I have a webinar on Tuesday during that time. I am drowning in genealogy webinars to watch and feeling I don't have time. I'd much rather research.

I'm sitting in parking lot waiting for the 15 passenger van to arrive with DS15. The noise level of our home has been super quiet without him. He is a people person and seeks someone to talk with almost nonstop.

Good evening! I have one accomplishment for the day, at any rate — I have filed (in chronological order, thank you!) the entire stack of medical papers that have been piling up on my desk for months. It took a good while — less than I’d feared, but more than if I had just dealt with them as they came in.

Got a chicken in to roast too late. Looked at it in the fridge at lunchtime, did the math, and said “too early.” Did I set a timer to remind myself of the correct time? Of course not! I asked DH if he still had any of the Spanish wine he had picked up, because we’ll be eating dinner about as late as the Spaniards do! He didn’t think it would go with chicken, though.

I hope everyone has a good evening and no more steaks are ruined! (I’m so sorry, Cathy.)

I picked up the kitchen & had dinner.
Sipping my cranberry juice.
It is raining again this evening.
I can go and check and see if the clocks need changed in the basement.

Did up the dishes and spiffed the kitchen counters.
Checking in with dson all is well.

Good job on chronological filing, Mystery.

Like Twins', I have gratefully accepted a "stopping point" in my project when I came to one. Kinda rubbing my eyes and blinking over this. Definitely exercising my brain (taxing my brain? lol). But that is good, right? We're supposed to try for that sometimes.

Harmony updates - something I am hoping for so much.

HRH could not sleep last night, and ya'll know what that means. Since he had no obvious furniture, however, that could benefit from moving, he decluttered. I was delighted to see that he tackled a lot that he's put off. In areas in which his work made significant progress, I decided to strike while the iron was hot. I kept forward progress going and even called him back to help me with some lifting and "Tetris". We may fit into this house yet! ;)

Hope all the meals in the village start going very well!

We had a nice day. I am definitely glad to be home, but we made it fine. Dgs was a HUGE help finding the parking lot and the truck afterwards. LOL — I thought we might have to wait till everyone else went home! There is a LOT of construction work going on all around the stadium, Waze app couldn’t keep up with closed streets, etc. But we had a printed map too, and between the two of them, dgs proved himself an excellent navigator.
We were in row 73, y’all, two rows from the top, and we came in on row 20, I think… so that was about 50+ steps. We certainly didn’t leave our seats after we climbed up there!
And it was very confusing — sections t and s, for example, run together. Seat 1 of section t is right next to seat 39 of section s. No marking except at the bottom, where section t aisle cuts between seats 26 and 27 of the same section. The aisle is not a divider between sections, in other words. And there’s nothing between 1 and 39 to warn you the section changed. Anyway, there were lots of people swapping rows and seats and saying “ohhhh…” before the game started. :)
We ate lunch on the way up, and then stopped at Bucee’s on the way home.

Dgs is still going strong, but I’ve collapsed on the couch. Helped dh change the one clock he can reach.
I can barely climb up to reach it tonight.
I woke up last night with really bad pain in my right knee. It hurts worse when I bend it fully or walk. I took Aleve in the night and again today, but I haven’t noticed it making a lot of difference. You can imagine what the walking and the steps did to it! It is not noticeably swollen, but it does feel painful to touch. Any ideas?
Tomorrow is another day.
