Home from vbs planning meeting and church service. I opted out of eating with my church family because I didn't have any calories left.

A dfriend brought me two pints of salsa that she made this afternoon. She learned how to make it from multiple generations in her family and no one can make salsa like she does (IMHO). It is so very good.

I already have my PJ's on. I am ready to call it a day.

Sweet dreams.

Still have one laundry load headed for the dryer and then fold and finish.

Ds and the children came and we enjoyed a visit, outdoors and indoors. DgdC used my sewing machine to make lots of decorative stitches. Kids always love the decorative ones. Ds and HRH told old stories and amazed the children with those. Ds had just administered the oath to new recruits so that was a topic, too. HRH is going to share a set of golf clubs with our green-eyed boy. Ds used to play when he was a teen.

Good job on avoiding extra food you didn't need, LadyM. Salsa over a baked potato is a helpful small meal to me, because it's not going to be a lot of calories, salt or fats, no sugars much. Yet there's some serious nutrition in there and it's filling.

Enjoy hearing about your clear, uncluttered bedroom, Cathy.

Yep, Nancy, POP is a milestone not to be missed in the mornings, lol. No kidding - I can get too busy with early routines and look around at time for brunch and roll my eyes at still being in a housedress, not really enough to greet a delivery person or the mail lady!
