My break time is over now.
I did the walk around the basement to make sure I got that energy going for me.
My steps are already in like an house ago.
I've hydrated used my Yellowstone cup.
Then I washed old dog dish and new to me one ddoggo approves!
Things are still drying out on the deck, some are dry and inside.
One gal & I were talking about dog wraps for when t-storms happens she said elastic bandage
bingo that might work! We had been talking about uses for old towels, torn bigger ones for shop
towels a great idea.
I spiffed up my bedroom before I left this morning.

Furniture has been moved back to where it came from. The extra furniture has been switched to Plan B. We are not putting free furniture by the road in 112 degree weather. We will wait a couple weeks until the heat breaks to make it available.
DS16 and friends don't care that it is hot. They are doing what they normally do. Today they are replacing fuel pump on an 89 flat bed pickup.

WTG on the progress.
Looking up how to get slight perfume small out of back pack. Baking soda was one ans.
Best way to wash a book bag or school book bag.
Like between holiday break or if you get a yard sale one....
fb had a good one in the bath tub soaked with baking soda and laundry soap!
So I used a bit of Windex, then hosed it out, it's now drip drying outside.
This was before I looked up how to do it! LOL!
So this is good info. will let you know how it goes may not be the first rinse just saying.
How do you gals wash your kids & grand kids bags?
My tip for getting ahead of the clutter is that I do not go to yard sales every week just once a mo. or so
if they are close. Today there was a neighborhood one in the next town over nope did not go to that one,
or the small town one a week or two ago I was unwell.
I am improving some each day so that helps.
S2S happened.
I did up the dishes.

Dgs and family left from the restaurant for their drive home. We came back to the cottage. It feels sad without my little ray of sunshine here. But it is nice to have it to ourselves again.
Dd and her family arrive in 3 days.
We are off to the lodge in a few minutes to meet up with the other renters and play music.

Kathryn - Your time with family & friends at the lake sounds wonderful.
New phase of life experience....DS16 just left to pick up girlfriend and go to local rodeo. The past 3 years we have taken DS16 to the rodeo and then gone back a few hours later to pick him up. This local rodeo is held in the middle of nowhere on private land. The narrow country roads were not designed for this much traffic. The line is always miles long to get into the rodeo. I am so thankful DS16 can drive himself and we don't need to take/get him from the rodeo this year.

Re: Satisfying Saturday
Dd26 and dsonil hardly took any clutter away because their pickup was filled with things from other houses. She says she may come back next weekend on Sunday and work. It's getting to be a long haul of waiting - I chatted about this in Decluttered Home.
However, I don't feel so great, so just sitting to have a visit may have been okay for me personally, really.
HRH actually ordered from Burger King an Impossible Whopper for me without cheese, but all the other fixin's. I ate the whole thing - I think I have been "hungry" for some kind of extra-tasty thing without work involved. I cannot think when I've had food from fast food, but perhaps it hit the spot. I coughed so much while they were here that I took a Clari tin after they left and then laid down. Perhaps a Musinex later with enough water.
dsonil's work's beloved Refugee Cat from Ukraine got hurt because the other cat jumped from a height and happened to hit just right, broke a shoulder bone. He had to have an operation. Sigh. He must go back into the crate again - how sad after a long time in that crate already - and stay 6 weeks this time for healing. That was the saddest thing - he doesn't speak... .. well, first I started to say he doesn't speak English, but really he doesn't speak Ukrainian either, does he,
so he doesn't understand what he's done wrong to be punished again.

Re: Satisfying Saturday
Good grief -- just lost post in mid-sentence...
I guess today has been satisfying, I have slept ALL DAY, basically.
DGrands got me up before I wanted to be up, but it was a good thing -- she "encouraged" me to s2s, etc... and then I took them to Subway, dgs' request.
THEN they asked when they were going to the other grandparents' house, and I said whenever they wanted to. DGS said he was ready, so I told him to call her, make sure she was ready for them, and off they went. She did not SOUND ready, but I'm thinking, whatever -- this was her idea. DS will not be home till sometime Monday, and DDIL is working this weekend, so I will be the designated driver for school Monday. Other grandma said how about she would keep them both Saturday if I would keep them both Friday. (She thinks dgd will have less separation anxiety at bedtime if dgs is with her. I think she will find out the fighting between them isn't worth it. Sigh. I hope this does NOT become a regular routine.)
Anyway, this all happened before noon.
I got back home, and dmom called. Emergency of some sorts, her garage door opener (in her car) was dead. She could not get her car in the garage, would I get her some new batteries and bring them to her?
I had one extra battery anyway, and I have a door opener for her garage also (In case of real emergencies) so I went out there.
Once I got there, she mentioned needing to go to the drug store, but it closed in 45 minutes, and she was about worn out already (had been to the beauty shop) so I offered to get the meds, and then she could come to my house whenever she got out again.
So -- did that. Then came home and slept.
Off and on -- I've been reading the paper some, and watching TV a little bit, but mostly sleeping.
Now I'm finally preparing myself some supper, and watching Dateline.
I'm just going to wave at everyone. Hope you've all had a great day!
