Bittersweet - YGG!
a pile of papers is a pile of decisions.
Dove - POTB for making such great progress with all those papers/decisions.

I have improved 3 rooms plus made a bucket of soapy water and encouraged DD13 to wash her bedroom door and trim. How does it get so grimy so fast? Hopefully this will give her some insight on where and how often she is placing her hands. AND how dirty our hands came be.

I am experimenting with the strawberry runners. This is the 3rd year for my strawberry plants and just as predicted they are not as productive as the first couple of years. I am creating new strawberry plants by putting the runners into individual pots. After they are rooted then i will cut the cord to the main strawberry plant. Will this work? I have no idea. I just know most strawberry plants can't survive in our hot weather, but this particular kind of strawberry plant does well. I want to multiply the number of strawberries plants so I am willing to spend some time and effort with this experimentation.

Hi!

I was planning on going to a Costco business centre near us. Told dh I was going to Costco and he asked if I could bring home a chicken. Yes, even though that meant going to the regular Costco ON A SATURDAY! I was shocked that I got a good parking spot (within sight of the door). It was packed inside and a lot of people had small children with them. It also sounded like the small children were in charge of every single cart that had a small child in it. They also had samples in almost every row, so the entrances and exits of each row were bottlenecked. If it wasn't for the fact that dh actually asked for a chicken from there, I would never have gone to that one. My goodness...

I still need to get apple juice and lemon jello for dh for Tuesday. I will go to a small grocery store first thing tomorrow morning.

I still need to clean one of the litter boxes.

I am done for the day… I have emptied and reorganized two closets and am in the process of working on the third… the hardest one.

Have been through all my costume jewelry and purged a great deal of it. Reorganized a huge dresser with 4 drawers. Been through my teacher three drawer storage container as well. I have 4 large bags for Goodwill and 3 large bags of trash. I was ruthless. Now I’m just plain tired.

I showered earlier and my stitches look great. However the is a lot of swelling in the area and a huge bruise is forming. I am tired and told Sweetie I wanted to eat at our favorite fast food place. They have healthy choices and I will get a bun less hamburger. Too tired to cook.

Off we go…see ya all tomorrow

DD messaged me a little while ago to let me know they're at the ferry terminal waiting to go over to Vancouver Island. I must admit to a certain degree of envy seeing the pics of them playing at the beach. In the meantime, however, I need to work on keeping busy so I can get a bit more done around here before DH goes to pick up the groceries and stops at the bank. Once he's back, there will be things to get put away. Heaven knows there's enough to do around here to keep me busy for several days!

- vacuum kitchen
- vacuum hallway
- clean out fridge

OMGosh Cathy Costc* on a Saturday is NOT for the faint of heart!!!

Way to go, RR! Itt sounds like you've had a super productive day!

This morning the chore of the master bathtub came up - recently, with just two of us here, I've been doing a deep clean there according to my colorist. That may sound odd, but I take the rubber interior bathmat to the washer, leave it waiting, rinse the tub, color my hair. Then, I do that wash load of just the Gorilla mat while deep-cleaning the tub with the fan running. When the two are done, I hang the bathmat until needed. That is working out well for us. It gets the mat to the wash on a pretty regular schedule and then before it is put back everything is pristine. I'm determined that we will have sure footing every time we step into that tub for a shower.

I did make the mail. I heard ds working outside but didn't see him - waved anyway. I assume he is back from WI safe and sound and will have stories when I see him tomorrow.

DgdC had her mother send a photo of her with her new plant - a Venus Fly Trap. I told her that is one plant Grandma doesn't know much about growing!

I do feel somewhat better after a few days with no dairy. Less drainage, less need to snuffle around with a tissue in the mornings. I've gone back to the musi nex once a day (well, it's a 24 hour thing I think) just one tablet. I keep telling myself to double up on the garlic and keep forgetting - no excuses tonight. Whatever last bit I eat will have a garlic capsule with it.
