Homeschool is done. DS16 came home for lunch and worked on his book lessons instead of eating. He is doing online lessons using his phone during breaks and waiting periods at work. DS16 is driving feed trucks to coop which involves sit and wait time. Sit and wait in line to get empty feed truck weighed. Then sit and wait in line to get feed hopper filled from the overhead bins. Then sit and wait in line to weigh the filled feed truck. The difference between the empty truck and the filled feed hopper truck is how they charge for the bulk feed. DS16 is eager to get his schoolwork done so he can go to church tonight with his girlfriend.

I filled the biggest cast iron skillet with country style ribs and have them simmering on the stove top. It is so messy cooking this way compared to using the instant pot. I regret my cooking method decision. Ohssss well.

More declutter and deep cleaning has been accomplished in the 4 room move. I have a goal to finish this project by the end of September. I have to look at a very small section at a time because looking at the whole project just overwhelms me. There are sooo many decisions to be made.

The bathtub fella texted asking if he could do the work on Sept 13th. I don't want to delay this project so I said yes. Guess who has TWO doctor appointments on Sept 13th? ughhh..... My appointments are at 10:30 and 1pm in the city. I am telling myself that leaving during the middle of the day won't affect the bathtub project. I will be here at the beginning and the end. Hopefully it will work out okay.

Dreaming.....we could have both projects completed in September. I can only hope it happens.

Way to go with progress LM.
I did another round and got the floors mopped yea for that!
Crock pot food is done so I brought that back inside and it needs to finish cooling off before I deal with it.

Still to do dishes in sink. Done.
Remake bed after ddoggo "helped" with that task LOL! Spiffed it up.
Counter could use another spiff too. did that.
One think is soaking and cooling still to wash up but so glad for that progress a productive round yea!

Filled the coffee pod holder yea!
The crock pot ceramic liner is clean and I"be put the whole thing away now oh yea!
It feels so good to reclaim the kitchen again.

I was another one mopping today, and dealt with some frustrating places on the kitchen floor that wouldn't mop up. Something thick was evidently dripped and left unnoticed so long it dried. Down in the floor scraping unknown substances - ugh. But all done now, and thank goodness for very scrubbable flooring.

Disappointed that friend S had to cancel for tomorrow. Then an attempt to schedule something next week finds appts for one household or another on each day. Hmmm... .. Which also calls my attention to a kinda hard appt week for us, although only one is at a truly distant location.

I reached for tumeric in the spice cabinet today and somehow got my hand on the curry powder instead. So, I had an interesting new taste in a skillet dish. This is made even more interesting because I alphabetize my spices so I was either really distracted or my eyes are really struggling. It wasn't so bad, but not repeatable - HRH doesn't like curry powder taste/aroma but didn't mention it, so thank goodness for a slightly more complicated spice profile in that dish.

He also made a vegetable stew that will last another day. Very good. I chopped up carrots for it and honestly, I think they just make it - colorful.
