-----
next round did get my steps in the garden for the day.
Talked to the neighbor about the dead branch they have some one to call for help with that.
Reflection: I"m glad I pulled out of Woman's Bible study they have been

Update after lunch I have put gum for rodents under the bush ddoggo nearly dug out,
she's napping. I covered it back in and watered the back beds after I worked on raking the
rose bush canes out of the way I"ll have to prune it in segments down to 24" tall to get to the dead ones.
after dinner I did more on the rose pruning and have started the next bush.
Will need to rest and have a fresh start for another day.
Been putting this off way to long, but did make progress yea!
others of diff. kind of roses to tackle on at least one other side of the yard will keep me busy this fall.
s2slippers happened had a great day today luv it that we will have two possible rain days this week.

Dh has gone to lay down on the bed with the tuxedo cat. The tortie is sleeping on the wing chair in the living room and Baby Cat is still in the "crib". I'm going to go tackle the hot spot in the fridge out in the garage. I'm finally going to empty all the bottles of alcohol out there. I don't want to drink any of the stuff. (Peach schnapps, no thanks! Hazelnut liqueur, nope. A very, very old bottle of strawberry liqueur, gross... plus there are some other bottles that are going to be emptied and removed.)
Later...
Outside fridge is done. I only have 1 bottle of ice wine and 1 bottle of peach schnapps out there now. It's from a local distillery and still unopened. I'm going to drive over there and ask if I can return it without a receipt. It was a gift from my dd a year ago. If they won't take it back, I will ask a neighbour if they are interested in it.
Dh went to get his hair cut. Two cats are outside.

Re: Tidy up Tuesday PYWC
Happy birthday Kathryn!
Cathy… I have hooks in my closet that are dedicated to either nightgowns, sweatshirts that I wear around the house when I get cold, my shapewear and clothes I just wore that day and want to wear again. I never had hooks in my other homes and find that these are tremendous help in keeping my closet organized and clothes off the floor. And I tend to straighten up my floor where my shoes land when I change them several times a week. And now I find, much to my delight, I tend to hang up what ever I take off. I like my new me!
Remember a few weeks ago I redid my closet. I have a small dresser in there that I keep my undies, everyday jewelry divided by silver and gold, bras… separated by color… and nightgowns. I have plastic type shoeboxes inside each draw so it makes everything easy to find.
I am finishing my laundry which I started on Friday. My son called on Saturday and asked me to join him and his son…3… to see the Minions 4. Afterwards they came over for a swim. When my grandson got tired of swimming it was animal crackers and lemonade time which he knows I keep here for him. We ended up playing with toys and later colors when I decided to get down my Lamb Chop and another large puppet.
He had never seen either before and I had a great time bring them to life so we could play. Even Sweetie joined in the fun. My grand daughter who is older never showed interest with the puppets, but my grandson loves them. He also loves Einstein although he was scared of him the first time my grandson saw him work.
Saturday my grandson said he was t scared of him any more and spent time “petting Einstein” when he was in his home base
:
Yesterday was a recovery day though I struggled through it. Another name for my cluster headaches are nicknamed suicide headaches for a reason. Three weeks ago a friend came on our fb page and told use she was done. All of us did all we could to encourage her to stay with us, but she chose not to. We kept trying to find out how she was doing and yesterday received a message from her mom that she was gone. Her mom thanked us all for all our messages trying her daughter not to do this.
We’ve lost others before but this one hit me hard because I totally got how she felt.
Anyway I woke with a shadow this morning but was able to get it to go away. I hate that Sweetie has had to fend for himself over this last few days, but he keeps reminding me before I came along he was great at taking care of himself.
My hot spot is a table in my hallway. It’s where I put my Amazon returns as well as my purse, keys and sunglasses. It serves as a landing place for everything I need and can grab when I go out the door.
Waving to y’all… it’s nice to see some many more happy faces in our villiage dropping by. We missed y’all!

Re: Tidy up Tuesday PYWC
DH wasn't enthused about attending the luncheon today so we didn't go. I was reading the FB post to DH about Martin road being oiled & chipped today. We discussed where Martin road was located and neither one of us could remember. I could have looked at google maps but what fun is that? Instead we looked at each other and said at the same time "Let's go find Martin Road" as we laughed and took off. It didn't take us long to find the road (our town is only 1 mile by 1/2 mile in size.) After that lighthearted adventure we went to the park and spent 30 minutes or so at the pond observing the wildlife. We held hands as we strolled along the walking path back to the vehicle. #TreasuredMoments
DS16 came home from lunch and took care of 2 of the S foods. The sub and sour cream chips are no more. DD13 loves strawberries so that she will make that S food disappear when she gets home from school.
DS16 and I made a deal for his gas to go to the volleyball game tonight. He will weedeat 30 minutes and I will pay for his gas. It is a good deal for both of us.

Re: Tidy up Tuesday PYWC
((Ramblin' and all the fb group friends)) Condolences in your loss.
I'm back from a pretty efficient morning out. Appt was good and I didn't wait long. Actually, the nice dr chatted more than anything else, which was pleasant.
I did stop by pharmacy - went inside because I didn't want to take "no" for an answer this time. Sure enough, the script (from early yesterday morning) was still not ready, but they would expedite. I asked how long - 10 or 15 minutes - so I shopped, finding absolutely nothing to buy. But it was worth it. Having to go out again and again is getting old.
So late by then that I stopped by a fast food for a couple acceptable items to add to lunch. But by the time I was almost home, HRH was calling, having gotten a message from the pharmacy that the script was ready, lol. One hand doesn't know what the other message machine is doing.
So, a slap-dash lunch following a banana. Hmmm ... .. I need to think about an afternoon snack!
While I was gone, HRH called 3 different households of friends making sure they were well, so that was a big help that he would do all that social catch-up. He also called his mother while he was about it, so I feel we're "caught up" on several fronts.
Hoping bittersweet is having success with her Tidy Up, and puppy dogs cooperating.
blessed, glad your dmother started feeling better. Do you still have your dear dogs? (and one kitty? Trying to remember.)
Cathy, I enjoy hearing about your cats. I'm not surprised you kind of know where each of them are in the house. I think we have an unconscious radar here, too, about where Tobias is napping or lying in wait.

Coat tree has been tackled! There are very few things hanging on it now. Dh has 2 pairs of jeans that he hasn't worn for more than 2 years, but he has requested that these 2 pairs of jeans continue to hang on 1 of his hooks. No big deal. His pajama bottoms are on the same hook. My housecoat is on another hook. My snow pants are on another hook at the back covered with a dark blue hoodie. I also have a belt and a bra hanging on the same hook as the housecoat. I think it's time to move the belt because I no longer have any pants with loops. Sitting here realizing that both dh and myself both wear stretchy polyester pants with expandable waistbands. Yikes. Both of us also just have black pants. I don't know if that was an organized solution or a lazy one.
Currently waiting for a pizza to come out of the oven for our lunch.
Later...
Forgot to add that litter box has been cleaned.

Re: Tidy up Tuesday PYWC
Happy Birthday to Kathryn!! Hope you are enjoying your day!
Home from my workout. This is my favorite trainer's last week here. She's moving away for a job that pays enough for a living. She is wonderful. Dfriend V and her dh and my dh are taking her out for dinner on Thursday p.m. Since I've been working out there she's moved out on her worthless dh, gotten a divorce, and started dating a guy that V and I introduced her to. (Son of a long time friend of mine, and the guy is is a friend of ds but they don't stay in touch much.) Both of them had marriages that ended very badly in different ways. I will miss her so much. I'll see her Thurs for workout and then later for dinner and that's it. She always challenges me in creative ways. Today she had me bouncing and catching a small ball with left hand to work on motor skills. In between each one I had to squeeze the ball hard. We're working on getting my left hand grip back, it's pretty abysmal.
I forgot to go by the temple - will do tomorrow because PT place is closer anyway. And after washing car I forgot to go on to UPS store, although I did have things in the car. I should have had a list next to me in the car.
I am adamant that I am not walking the dog until 5 p.m. I am the human after all.
My hot spot ended up being my pile of papers, etc. on the kitchen counter, still not done tho. Found things I had left undone before trip that I was sure I would remember when I got back: cemetery check to be deposited (large one) and reimbursement to a neighbor, labeled in envelope. So I'm continuing on that.
