what I need to:
put the food away done
empty the dw when it's finished emptied and refilled turned on
put away the recipes
counters need washing kind of
stove needs washing done

Back from church—
I really enjoy these Wednesday nights. Tonight it was just two other ladies with me, and we are all relatively new widows. I mean, one list her husband during Covid, the other a few years before, I think. But they definitely understand where I’m at in my life right now.

Normal day for me — I came home and slept all afternoon— well, after ds and I took my Tahoe to the mechanic.

And :)&”(//(! I just remembered I did not go to the post office. Going out again…
Tomorrow is another day.

Thinking of Cathy.

Feel better, blessed. Joining you in prayers for all those worried tonight.

LadyM, there is no such thing as one raccoon, of course. But you know that. The ones who attacked my beds and baskets in the late spring/early summer have been kept away by HRH's radio idea, even though they had been here several nights doing various levels of damage each time. I don't like it much, but it has worked. He just bought a cheap battery radio and set it on a relatively level surface of our AC outdoor unit not far from the scene of the crimes. He covered it with an upside-down large rubber maid type bin/container that is gray, the same color as the AC unit. Visually, it is not even obvious. But we always have to explain to newcomers to our back door that they are not crazy - they really are hearing talk radio from an AC unit.

I fear that my sleep schedule is in applecart turnover.

LOL, Harriet!

Well, maybe my sleep cycle has become contagious. I don't even know what I'm doing... I had really strong intentions to make 10:00 pm the BEDTIME ROUTINE hour... watch the news while doing 15 min walk away the pounds (if I had not done it earlier), brushing teeth, taking meds, take off makeup, etc...
I did the exercise part at 10:30... not bad...
and
then...
I sat and played games on my phone for hours. Then I came in here to the computer to make copies of the habit tracker from the expensive planner I ordered for a 3-month "trial"... and then I looked at facebook and got all wrapped up in a situation in a family that I really don't even know, just friends of friends...
and here I am. It's 1:46 a.m.

At least, tomorrow I don't have to do anything really. Maybe my car will be fixed, but otherwise, I have N O T H I N G that absolutely has to be done.
There's a LOT of stuff I need to do, but what I mean is, there is nothing with a time schedule on it, no one depending on me for anything.
And...
having said that,
I have pretty well guaranteed that either my dmom or the dgrands will have some sort of emergency. Shaking my head...

At any rate, dbro and dsisil seem to be surviving Milton as well as possible. I'm sure being as far inland as they are is a huge help for them.
Thinking of all the others who may be affected by all this, especially Rose, who is closer to the coast, I think.

(((LadyM))) for upcoming dental surgery. I know you will be glad when this is all OVER and HEALED.

Blessed, I did go back to town to get the mail, nothing important except I wanted the newspaper, which I have still not read, because I spent all evening playing games on my phone...
I did watch an episode of Chicago Fire, and two episodes of Family Feud. Family Feud is my foolproof method of getting laughter in my day. However, I cannot watch it with dgs anymore -- it has become too risque.

I'm going to try again to get ready for bed.
Tomorrow is another day.
