Well, I can't say it has been a "fab" Friday -- I wasted a lot of the day. Early morning stomach upset (probably due to late night binge eating) and lots of sinus congestion made it very tempting to lie on the couch all day -- and that's mostly what I did. DS called around 2:30 while he was in line to pick up dgrands, and we talked awhile. After that, I was inspired to do daily Bible reading AND finish vacuuming the main area of the house, plus master bedroom. I never did get a shower today... but I plan to shower before bed -- so it will be easier to get out of the house for dgd's ballgame in the morning. At least this week, she does not play till 11:00 a.m., so we'll leave around 10:00 to get her there at 10:30.
Tomorrow night, ddil is making a roast (using some of my prize winnings of that quarter steer). (I still have not used any of it.) Tonight I am going to make some chocolate chip pecan cookies for DS (and myself ;) ).

I can certainly relate to the problem of having a room that has become a dumping ground. My little computer room is about the same.

I am also nodding in agreement with blessed -- needing time to think about what I want to do in 2025. I don't really have a lot of hope for new things or any special events, but I feel like I am just in limbo until I get this biopsy over with and * praying * I get good results and can just put this whole thing behind me!

But I do want to have some sort of plan for the year... I still feel like I'm in limbo in this regard also. 9 months that I've been on my own now... and I still feel kinda "stuck" -- I mean, I'm totally unable to deal with dh's things, to change anything about the house, or anything of that nature -- although I would sell the truck if I could find someone who would give me a good offer.
Dcousin says $3500 is about the limit for him. Remember, the man who changes the oil told me he would ask $5000. Insurance office told me going price for this model is $4500-$5500... so I would really like to get at least $4000. Dcousin says he just can't do that right now. And I keep wondering what dh would say... he would want to get as much as he could... but he sometimes accused me of being "greedy" when we priced tickets on Seat Geek. I would like for dcousin to have it but do y'all know, he said he asked about getting it painted, and was told it would be $4500-$5000 just to PAINT it. (DS and I decided we had chosen the wrong professions.)
I sent a text to a friend who expressed interest, and he hasn't gotten back to me.
A third person, has also expressed interest, but I sent word via his mom (my bug lady) that cousin and other friend get first refusal.

So anyway... something of a "normal" weekend here. DGD is here tonight, she has a ballgame tomorrow, DGS will be here tomorrow, I'll eat supper with DS & family, church Sunday, and I plan to watch the inauguration and national championship game Monday -- and call about the scheduling for the biopsy, if they don't call me first Monday. I wonder if they will be open Monday -- MLK day, you know.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
Tomorrow is another day.

Nancy, your Cardfile work is going so well, and even the part so far in advance.

blessed, I'm sorry the sewing projects are either so large or just not inspiring right now. Make another start another time.

Our oldest grand-dog has passed away. She was not young and had had recent health issues. Just finished a little note to dstepdil.

About me - after a good bit of doctor-thinking on the subject, I was advised to start an antibiotic since something is going on. I have too many white blood cells dashing about. Whatever it is, it's not classic anything, but time to address it. HRH went out to pick that up for me this morning. I'm sad because this was supposed to be my one good week - just a matter of 7 days to allow my gut to recuperate from treatments. Now an antibiotic attacks it for 5 days, too.

Even after bananas and potatoes for each of several days, I had terrible cramps last night. I've started on a potassium supplement which doctor also knows about. Something out of my control is depleting.

Had a nice phone chat with dd44. Her dmil is having troubles in life, and trying to help with ideas about her needs I got a little teary. It reminds me of caring for my dear aunt.

i knew I wanted to S2S, so gardened some ahead of that in the "heat" of the day. Afterward, the two things had pretty much winded me and I napped.

We enjoyed a sunny day reaching almost 70F. Now our temps are dropping and it will be 100 hours of below freezing temps for us. No complaints here though cause our weather looks mild as I look at the temps up North and East of us. Bundle up and stay warm.

I did a quick sort of two containers, found one more when dson was here it was a smaller one.
Looking for something that is elusive but found some more places it was not
I had to set the timer for the card file reset and did several of those. So glad for the recap and getting to purge that planner. And think about spring soon.

Also a self care basket.
A new record here I killed a plant in two days!
