(((Harriet))) hoping your digestive system plays nice today.
I am trying something new with our ready-to-eat food selection. I am putting painter tape on the exterior of refrigerator with items that are available. It isn't the most beautiful way to keep this information available, but it is quick and easy. DH thanked me for doing it so he knows what is available without opening the refrigerator door.
I pulled a few things out of the freezer to thaw. Chicken breast will be turned into chicken parmesan. Smoked sausage will be sliced and fried. Chili will be thawed and served with hot cornbread. Mac and cheese will be made too.

Yep it's A Frosty Monday Here too PWYC - Stay Warm!
Cathy I had a dream last night too...
MIne was of LH he had tootsie rolls in the dream, this morning
I found the gift that keeps on giving a boot box filled with pay check stubs and receipts.
That job was one he would have tootsie rolls from the co. they gave out to the crew on the job site.
Had to laugh when I found that boot box with that paperwork so that's my next goal.
Later in the week.
I had my dev. egg.
Pork roast is cooking in the crock pot.
I did the basement walk about.
Got dressed did my journals.
Walked about in the basement.
-----
Walked warming up now.
Crock pot is off & cooling off.
-----
Kitchen clean up happened.
That is tasty food I made!
Got it divided up to freeze.
Broth is jarred up for soup too.

Electrolyte mixture made. I am not sure how long it will last with daily use but somewhere around a month.
I didn't eat my first meal until almost noon because I wasn't hungry and forgot to eat. I went ahead and ate my 2nd meal an hour later, so I am back on track.

Re: Frosty Monday PWYC - Stay Warm!
hello d lady good for you on making electrolyte mixture
glad you are back on track with meals
glad you found the box with paperwork and receipts d Nancy
yay on walking in the basement
before it gets too late - I think I will be making dinner and a soup. I have halibut with a compound butter/capers/lemon zest/spinach in paper. If no one likes it well no one likes it.
while cooking then I think I will do my exercise program
I spoke to a company to replace our shower door and repair the area again -they are coming on Thursday. I also have to ask the plumber to come and snake the shower as something isn't right.
mom is enjoying an old Boy Scout field guide I used when I was working on outside adventures years ago.

Home from workout and I am tired. Dh has gone out. I shouldn't nap but feel like I could.
I need to regroup and walk the ddog finally. I suspect my step count will be off this week anyway. We'll be away Thursday - next Monday.
--------
dog walked, two laps. I'm still tired. I managed to transfer tickets for a show we would see at home on Saturday, except that we'll be away. Transferred to dfriend V's dd.

Re: Frosty Monday PWYC - Stay Warm!
I've really done nothing today except watch TV and sleep, keep DGS fed, talked on the phone, and had a slight panic attack.
DGS wanted pizza around noon, so I prepared a frozen pizza and I ate one slice; he ate seven.
Later, ddil called and asked if he wanted to eat supper with me or them -- they were going either to Chinese or Mexican, and I planned soup at home -- DGS decided he wanted to eat with me, and he had chicken gumbo soup; I had chicken noodle soup. DS picked him up after they ate, so for the first time since Friday evening, I'm alone again.
Being alone isn't the cause of the panic attack -- that was a silly thing --
Dcousin called and asked (after a long preliminary, "Tell me if you can't or don't want to, I promise I won't be mad and I'll still love you..." but finally asked if I could take daunt to eye doctor tomorrow. Of course I said yes and immediately, I have that lurching feeling in my stomach.
This really makes no sense because I love daunt sooo much and I always enjoy time with her... but it's out of my normal routine, so I flip out. She said she could not find a substitute, was already taking off on Thursday, neither of her brothers could go, and her niece would be babysitting and she hated to ask her to get out with the baby (dcousin's grandchild) as cold as it would be. Well, of course I told her I could go. Then I have to go to the bathroom, call dmom, etc... then DS called and I told him what was going on, and took a half pill of that Klonopin and by the time I stopped talking to DS, I was almost looking forward to spending the morning with daunt. LOL -- THEN, Dcousin texted and said we have a 2-hour delay for school tomorrow; she can take her mom. What a turn or events. It proves DS is always right; no need to worry about anything because chances are it won't happen or it won't be as bad as you imagine even if it does happen.
So now I'm back to no plans for tomorrow except laundry and WHB, and maybe going to Wmart. I really did spend today in my Cuddleduds, fuzzy socks, and the t-shirt I slept in. And I've been in my recliner with my "grandmother quilt" all day. (Grandmother quilt is the very heavy double-wedding ring quilt my paternal grandmother made for me, at my request, before dh and I got married. She swore she'd never do another, but she did two more, for each of my girl cousins.)
I have not called the doctor's office to schedule the biopsy -- I hate to do that and I'm putting in off, telling myself maybe they took the day off for MLK day. I may just put this to prayer and if the Lord wants me to have it done, they can call me. But the doctor/NP said if they didn't call me soon, I should call her back and she would help me get it scheduled. Sigh. I have had no additional symptoms at all since the first week of December, and I am down to every fourth day on the hormones. But... she says since my endometrium lining is 11 mm rather than 4 or 5, I should have the biopsy. More sighs.
I need to do laundry and I don't know when is the best time -- I'm thinking the only danger with this severe cold is that people may overload the electric grid, and I don't want to contribute to that. I wonder when the heaviest usage time is around here.
At least I'm not having to think about minus- temps! Right now, it's 21, and "feels like 15." Low tonight is expected to be 14 -- at 7:00 a.m. I have to admit, I'd rather be in my warm bed at that hour, than on the highway with daunt. High tomorrow is 29. Then tomorrow night, it drops down to 9 degrees, with a high of 36. By Thursday, we will be back into the 40s. Dmom said they mentioned a chance of snow again this weekend, but I'm not seeing that on my app.
I may just continue this lazy day. Looks like Ohio State is winning the football game. Do any of you have a favorite? I don't, except Notre Dame's QB grew up in Alabama. He played three years at Duke before transferring to Notre Dame. So I guess I am kinda hoping they win... but this game isn't as interesting as those yesterday where people were sliding around in the snow.
Y'all stay warm!

Re: Frosty Monday PWYC - Stay Warm!
Just realized the room I've been doing the staging for paper work has the router in it ack!
The tech. will probably need to go in there so I guess I"ll be working on that.
Plus I should dust again in the other areas at least the TV stands and move a few things out of the way.
So I'll be getting steps in doing that. I have a lawn chair in my living room looks ok but might be in the way.
I was going to get another tv before the original apt. but could not find the size I needed last week.
The gal said I could install it myself and that the kind I got works with their system but one other brand did not sam sung does not right now.
I guess I'd better start some of that... brought in the dog's kennel to warm up opened it up and she went right in for a bit and got her toy and was
packing it around. / did that/
Dinner was great.
