Updating the list of ready-to-eat food in refrigerator. I want to find a "pretty" way to display the food items on the refrigerator door. However, I must admit the current way (using painter tape) is very effective and efficient. It is sooo much easier to look at the items available instead of opening the refrigerator door and looking through the containers
Removing the tape showing these are available - -
** Homemade biscuits
** sausage gravy
** Chicken chili
** Tang
** Pizza bagel bites
** Mac & Cheese
** Green salad
** Cheese Pizza
** Chicken nuggets
** pizza rolls
** Potato Salad
I try to do this every day because the food disappears quickly. It lets me know what and how much food I need to prepare for the next 24ish hours.

DS16 and GF are going to a friend's home. His mom is preparing snacks for the group of teens to have while they watch the Super Bowl. Our school is too small to have football so most of the teens around here are baseball and basketball sport fans. However, any reason to gather, eat and be together is a good reason.

LM I have been seeing the chicken chili recipe on a yt ch. a guy has longhorms Doss Farms; his wife makes it a lot they
put it on everything! LOL!

I have purged a couple more planners and emptied out dresser drawers they were in and put more current ones there.
Walk has happened.
33* feels warm compared to windy 28* from two days ago.

mom is really stuck on the date - she wrote it out earlier and it is in front of her - I tried to break the circle but she got a bit frustrated with me - now she is still stuck on the date and is rewriting it= I will try to refocus her in a bit.
she is now sitting with a pen in her hand and her eyes closed. - I think she needs a wee nap - I will put on tv for her bc she is in a circle.
At least now she is writing Feb.. 9, 20205, Sunday. ---- February 10, Monday etc. - she woke up and said she didn't fall asleep even though her head went down - that she was deep in thought

bought a wedding shower gift to split with my d sis in laws.
wrote to say I was going to the shower. I don't think we are going to the wedding reception. I would like to go to the wedding at the church though.
put away is still going on and it feels good
everyone is quiet - dh hasn't come come down once.
now to the next thing - I know it's cold but I want to do a put away from my car and and from the garage.

I have already had the nap, now.

This morning I washed all the dishes by myself. HRH fussed because he had intended to do them this morning. He and I have different views of the sink basin's purpose. He believes the sink is used to stack dishes and run water over them as added, until later. I want the sink clear but don't mind a stack of rinsed dishes waiting their turn to the side. After a while, his way begins to bother me, even though it's true you eventually end up with a drainer of clean dishes drying either way. I can't get the image of "dish soup" out of my mind, wondering what's being harbored until then.

Anyway, that was a big achievement compared to the last week.

I've also put away all watering things. Everybody has had their feet good and wet, but I think there had been some stress.

Ramblin' sorry you were feeling poorly yesterday.

lucylee, I hope dgs gets better and continues to improve.

blessed, I had also better have laundry as a goal. I wish the forecast would change timing a little and allow ya'll to get home from appt Wed before any harder weather.

Cathy, well at least he can work without wind. Hope it's not too difficult. We can't all have your kitty's attitude - kitty has no work to manage.

Twins', I love barley in a soup, so hearty when it's rainy out.

I have a planned nap. Then maybe the laundry.

I am not allowed to vacuum, which is a real problem on our one large rug in main traffic pattern. HRH either, because it is considered something that will raise a dust. I don't have a carpet sweeper type thing. Sigh.

I have ordered an inexpensive carpet sweeper for the duration. We only have the one room-sized rug.

Has been a productive day. Dh didn't get in until 4:30 and turns out he's not bowling tonight. I thought he was because it's on the calendar (silly me.)

I got the HOA deposit ready for tomorrow and put it in QB too. Made a list for tomorrow - I only have my workout at 2, otherwise the day is open for errands and such.

We're making brats for supper. Dh didn't like the beef barley soup idea... So, whatever.

I mopped the bathroom floor. This is huge, lol. An actual chore.

Our supper will need to change because fresh broccoli we just ordered looks bad. Sigh. I so want to go into groceries and pick out my own produce but it is not to be for a while.

Will probably switch over to the coleslaw ds found at FLion, but really it is a disappointment. Very hard, old-seeming cabbage in big pieces.

Again, can't wait until i am back to making my own coleslaw again. We just love it.

Tomorrow is blood work at mid-day. Hopefully, I will feel stong.

I got mom off her circle by finding dd Youngers hiking boots - I didn't even know they were in the front area - full of dry muck. mom and I poked an prodded them clean. Mom and I washed them afterword.

Today was a day to enjoy = productive with Smooth transitions- I worked, got somethings put away, finished some little things - it felt good! Many times I was by myself. nice and easy day!

I have had ken burns civil war, episode one, on while I worked and mom was very interested in it. dd older spoke to her about it. Mom also discussed the documentary. It was nice especially after she got stuck in circles.

Got some snow but it did not stick more could be soon but it's not too cold till mid week.

Will try to get some dinner going in a bit.
But it's not time.

Did some crocheting managed to wtay away for my show it was a challenge.

I saw that Ken Burns on Fri. impressive as all of his things are.
