Blessed no I have not tried them I will look into them.
I add one package of my fav. ground sausage to mine & v-8 and two left over biscuits or corn bread.
Excellent! Just gotta say. Froze up the rest of the meat balls for later.
They are jumbo size.
Store brand at Wal-mart ones are not worth the $ just saying.

We have returned from our walk.
Got the confirmation from the builder up the street on my boarding up over the opening on the shed.

Waiting till midweek for getting to that so it's not so busy.

((blessed and dh, dds, household)) I hope this stay does the trick and he is home and on the mend soon.

LadyM, I hope all the young people around the teen couple take away something from the situation, some wisdom, and become aware. Also hoping there is plenty of health and well-being for them going forward. Sorry you had such a crowded trip to store today!

Twins', what a shame travel plans fell through and they won't get to have all the visits.

thank you d harriet

I have been on the computer talking to dh's dear family - I had a good heart to heart talk with my d brother in laws wife.
dd is so frustrated that dh won't take care of himself. She doesn't think it is his brain but I will get him checked.

I can refocus on things that need doing.
mom is resting - and cheerful
I have done nothing - so I am back to work -
my brother offered to come in and take mom to her apartment but she has been good. If I find out that I need help I will call him.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Nancy … I had a pneumonia shot and had the worst reaction that I’ve ever had. Ran 104 fever for two days and missed a total of three days of school. I was sick for a total of five days because I got my shot on a Friday never again.

Blessed good idea that your husband’s in the hospital where they can keep an eye on him and take care of him. Good idea to ask the doctor to find a neurologist to make sure he hasn’t begun to have dementia sort of sounds that way from what I’ve read.

Oh R.rose I'm am so sorry that happened to you. I did not have any adverse reactions to that one other than like a flu shot.
I no longer get them b/c the flu hits here before the shots are out and I had that bad one when I was a kit.
My Dr. said I to not get the RSV one I'm not at high risk bc I"m not a smoker and it's a new vaccine.

I did some more work on the hot pads earlier. To a stripe color.
Got more done on the kitchen clean up after my cooking adventure this morning.
One pan left to clean up. Did that one too.

You gals are not going to believe this. ...
I was looking for nails for the shed closure project and I found that nails and drum roll....
curtains I got at a yard sale for $3 and never used. So in ten min I put nails up and hung
them over the opening one facing out and one facing in! A lovely soft green and white print, they are lined a great temp.
fix for now till I can get something else more secure. I am happy with this project today.
It stops people from looking in.

Got the hose out it was in the way.
Ddoggo is pleased with her food today as I thawed out some soup I'd made and forgot about it.

Nancy - Great find and realization of how it could be used.

(((Blessedw2)))) You have a lot going on. Remember to take care of yourself

I am taking a break from the kitchen. I have been watching Toxic Town on NFix. I probably won't continue to watch it.
TA-DA's accomplished -
** Chicken deboned. I want to make chicken salad with meat.
** 2 onions diced to be used this week.
** 6 bell peppers diced, put into portion size and froze.
** Cabbage into portion size and froze
** Spinach into portion size and froze

.....later
After my break I scrubbed a half dozen potatoes and filled the instant pot.
Now I have all the ingredients ready for tomorrow.

Did too much yesterday, perhaps, and have needed some rest today. Chatted with ddolder and later ds, about finding some balance between being sure I recuperate but also trying to keep strength up and be active. I guess these are my thoughts this first day of March, as Twins' asked. I've lost weight and some of that probably muscle. Something to think about.

I was going to do some laundry but HRH got ahead of me and did his. Maybe tomorrow afternoon. He said I needed to put it off a day anyhow.

I did stand at stove and do some cooking.

I've enjoyed reading all the doin's around your houses today! Best wishes to everyone caring for family and themselves! You are all pretty terrific.
