Lots of routine things done, as in personal routine things. Showered this evening with general grooming. Nails are all happy now, for instance. Did not pull out the shower chair, and felt normal and okay about that.

2 appointments tomorrow at two distant-from-each-other locations, and a long one Thursday.

lucylee, that's a lot of work on the house getting done quickly. I'd say he charges very reasonably.

Twins', your posts often seem upbeat after your workouts! That is good insight about what we do and don't remember about recuperations.

I was probably frustrated, but I don’t remember that so much, just that I got through and got back onto firmer footing.

Your "firmer footing" is showing in your workouts and general ability - happy for you.

blessed, don't be sorry about being so busy! We are pleased to see a "hello", and send it back to you! You are doing the best anyone could do in a challenging situation, so good job!

Yes, I may turn entirely nocturnal... sigh. I had a fairly long nap, interrupted once by dmom's phone call and once by ds' phone call.
Dmom called to say her birthday present had arrived in the mail and she really likes everything... but the shoes are MEN'S size 8.5!!!
We just LOL about that. I know I THOUGHT I was ordering a women's size. Good grief. Luckily, they are from Belk, and we can go by there at her next doctor's appointment and exchange them.
DS called to say both kids had good ball practices; today was dgs' first practice of the year.

Looks like stormy weather tomorrow. Won't it be just my luck to have a bunch of shingles blow off the roof and create a new problem here? Nah-- I don't think that will happen. The roof itself has held up pretty well, except at this spot where this dormer is, and where the fireplace is. (The second dormer has had zero problems.)
The carpenter says I will need a new roof in a few years -- he thinks I can certainly get another couple years, maybe even five years, out of this one.

Have any of you seen these ads for the stuff they spray on the roof that is supposed to revitalize it for maybe up to ten years? The carpenter here is skeptical of this, but I wonder how much they charge and how well that stuff works.

Once again, I forgot about cleaning my heat/ac filters until it was dark -- and kinda chilly around here tonight.

Harriet -- are the wildfires any concern in your area? I was seeing that on the news just now. Also -- (((BIG HUGS))) and prayers for the upcoming appointments.

Twins' -- I'm so glad your workouts have such an emotional as well as physical effect! You are inspiring me to keep up my March "resolution" to walk every day, even if it is only 5 minutes.

I have rails at my steps, although only on one side at the back, and dmom wishes I had them on both sides. The ones in the front need replacing, but they are still standing upright, so that is NOT on this episode of Home Improvement. ;)

Waving to blessed and cathy -- hope all is well.
Tomorrow is another day.

Checking to see if Cathy posted.

Spring time weather has arrived. Tonight storms come with tornado warnings. We are in the middle of the bulls' eye of the expected area. The storms will pass over us 11pm-3am. Tomorrow's weather says wind 60-70mph. I do enjoy the energy of the storms and the moisture they bring, but hopefully they won't be destructive.

Praying for no damage, LadyM. I think we'll be watching those storms tomorrow night. DS said ball practices might be cancelled, possibly school dismissed early even -- but I don't think it is expected to be here till at least 6:00 pm. And ds is supposed to be getting on the road around 6:00 pm.

Mixed results re: accomplishments here...
* :) Laundry is done, hanging to dry or put away -- except small load of dgrands' stuff & some socks
* :) Took allergy shots
* :( Tried to reconcile the bank statement and checkbook. Bank apparently thinks I have over $475 MORE than I can account for. This frustrates me to no end. I cannot figure out where the extra money might have come from, or where I might have made a mistake! I called the auto-teller and nothing is off since before I balanced last month. I will go to the bank tomorrow and see if they can help me find the mistake. I normally check my math with the calculator every day... but I guess I need to go through the last month again with the calculator.

I'm watching a PBS special on Peter, Paul, and Mary. Some of their songs were among the favorites of Other Guy. This is very puzzling to me because they were so anti-war, and he ended up making the military his career and ultimately, died because of it.

Still need to
[ ] exercise
[ ] wash dishes that are sitting in the sink
[ ] fold dgrands' clothes
Tomorrow is another day.
