Wow. Slow motion is right. Laundry is about what is going to get done. This headache is just sitting there. Not really bad but not going away.

Somehow I do need to get to the grocery store. You know it's hard to know what to get for dad. He asked for a couple things and I know we used up a good portion of fresh stuff. Actually E cooked mostly. Need more potatoes and carrots. And a few other things. There's leftovers in the fridge for him. And I am not sure how much fresh stuff to buy if suddenly people start bringing meals. That's a little scary too cause he's a bit fussy and diabetic and trying to help him make good choices while gets enough nutrients. But there's not much in the fridge. And he was already up helping me spice my soup with wjat he has in the cupboard. Unless he goes really downhill energy and pain wise we might have to make him slow down .

Maybe fresh air will do me some good. I'll have a look and see what I need and check in with E about stuff and then see what I need

Laurlind, it's hard to buy groceries for someone else! I'm sure you will be checking on your parents frequently.

Helian, I think you need to focus on 2 things for your mother's transfer.
1 is arranging transportation, knowing who is going to transport, and how much notice they need.
2 is getting her memory care room ready, so it is delightful and welcoming when she arrives.
Associated of course are many questions. when does she need to arrive, or, what time of day. Who is going to do the initial in person assessment, and how soon after arrival does it have to happen. What is the responsibility of the trustee, and how much freedom do you have to spend $ to decorate the room. What are some things that will help her feel "at home" when she gets there. Can/will your brother deal with the things at the NH she has been in? Who will pack her clothes and other personal possessions? Will you be riding with her, to reassure her along the way? Following in your vehicle? Or awaiting her arrival?

Kittykatt, I checked the pictures. I was thinking I might have a couple things that would be fun for the house, but I think they are too big.

And thinking about l.ann, doggedly, smiles, butterfly, trissie and crew, FFB, peaches, for all of you. I hope I haven't missed anyone. I'm using my phone and not as many options as when I sit at real computer. (Like color)

Gma thank you. I actually do color and most everything else with just my phone. Only thing I'm unsure of is trying to post pictures. It might be different here but I messed up my pdf reader trying to make the app work. Maybe it's a little harder to scroll back.

Got the groceries out to dad's. Just a few things. My sister came and sorted a couple more days of meds. E came and warned up leftovers for supper for them. We'll get it figured yet.

I put my leftover supper in their bowls that migrated here. Chili works for bringing there.

Other than that just laundry.
