There used to be wild turkeys roaming around when we first moved here. They became too aggressive - attacking people - so they were "relocated." Haven't seen any around for a long time.

Made myself a very simple supper tonight:
Simmered 30 minutes in a pot.....
• a can of mixed greens
• a can of lentils
• chicken broth
• garlic
• 2 diced tomatoes

• a slice of buttered Ezekiel toast
• rooibos chai

Our wild turkeys haven't gotten aggressive toward people yet - at least not that I know of, Smile. Everyone in the neighborhood kind of looks out for them, otherwise they'd all be squished on the roads, considering how little they seem to fear cars. There used to be a wild turkey that lived on North Campus (the engineering campus) that was kind of mean and would chase the students. Ds told me about him and sent a photo once. His name was - Tom Turkey. Those engineering students sure are creative with the names.
Bama, chicken poo is kind of famous! We have coyotes too, but I haven't heard their pups. Yikes on the bears and cougars!
Did you get something good at Kohl's, L Ann? Are you traveling for appointments tomorrow?

Last ci. It's almost 11. I'm not completely ready for my 9 am meeting, so I'll get up early to finish prep for that. That means I need to go to bed, like now. . . We got home from the Lenten group around 9:30, so we took some time to relax.

Next:
