Well I had tea and cookies with mom. Cookies was an adventure. I turned the oven on and went to get butter. Guess that goes on my grocery list too. I only have a little left on the tray. Oops. I went hunting for a different recipe and found one to use up some shortening I had leftover. Crispy oatmeal coconut cookies. Good flavor but I think they would be yummy soft with butter.

My floors are swept. I think I will sit for a while and then wash them and put litter boxes in different spots. Then it will be vet time. Put the carrier together and get stella into it .

Except I don't know who got chased again. Dog was here for all of 10 minutes. I think the cat went straight outside throughout the pet door ..
That won't help a bit.

Win though Declutter a bunch of dad's papers and such.

Dogged, we would never send you in harms way. What’s good on Etsy? I’m loving beads made to look like plants and want to try it. I found some “clackers” on Etsy and had to have them, not sure if anyone remembers those lol. It’s definitely a distraction and I’m not sad about it at all.

LAnn, is the coughing from allergies? We went through that last month and it was rough. Dh rattles the house and all the animals run off (probably the wild ones outside too) when he coughs.

Laura, I’ll always add my vote for cookies.

Helia, do you ever get a cramp/pain at the bend of your leg by the hip? My knee is doing better but I seem to stiffen up there and walk funny, it’s when I do more walking than usual, maybe it’s muscles waking up lol.

I made myself do something before I came back. Site is still a little wonky but it took less tries to get in so maybe it’s getting better and all will be all well by my next post.

for yall …. We have a small atv for the yard and I noticed a small bird nest under each front fender. They look sort of like hummingbird nests, small openings in a deep cup shape. We had driven it around several days before I noticed. Do I park it back where it was originally and see what happens or destroy the nests before they lay eggs? I looked it up and apparently they incubate 15-18 days so I could wait that long before we use it. I was just pulling around a cart to fill with mulch and limbs. I could use my plastic wheelbarrow or attach the cart to dh’s truck when he’s home…

Well that was eventful. I did not expect stella to resist the carrier so badly. Took work to get her in and then she complained the whole 2 minute drive there. I walk it with Casper that's how close. She has mangled my hands from trying to get her back in there after. Scratches all of it but some pretty good gashes. They had me wash with their soap amd I still my hands with iodine. Should be ok but going to have to do that differently next time. She was in pretty bad shape when we got there so probably in pain too and she's gained quite a bit since last time. Need to lose some. Somehow. Pain killers and antibiotic shot again.

They gave me s sringe to see if I can collect a sample off the hard surface. Likely with the rest it's just behavioral she figures.

Trouble.. now Casper is going to want a walk. Maybe with a glove so his leash doesn't rub. Then it's time for supper prep.

The day’s plan went out the window. DD32’s personal support person called to let me know that DD32 didn’t have enough hours so I had to scramble to get Little Bit home a bit early and then grab take out and get DD32 to cheerleading…. And then sit around while cheerleading was happening.

The coughing is allergies according to the doctor, Bama. Hopefully we are nearing the end.

I can't believe how much it takes out of me just to walk to the grocery store and do the shopping. I didn't manage to get the laundry done. But I did have a good phone visit with my db after. He has had his evaluation in the transplant hospital in Montreal and made it back home. They will be doing a bypass in the next few weeks. Once he recovers from that, he will have a lot less pain.

Right now I'm just enjoying dinner.

Bama, I am buying something that we normally use and throw away. but people sew reusable ones in pretty fabrics.

Ouch, laurlind. Luckily, you work in a store with a good variety of work gloves to protect your hands for next time.

Haha yeah next time it will be gloves and help I think. I did not expect my sweet snuggle cat to do that. She must have been in pain and she is so big it'd be unclear to be picked up. She likes to come up by herself.

And then Casper decided to be a handful. Two steps back and one forward lol. He was being a brute going where he wanted. Decided to dash for the water and i lost hold. He ran off through the trees. I knew where he was going and took the road thinking i would catch up to him there. He turned around and came yp from behind again. Tjen he did it again and I had to catch him at the other neighbors. From there it was sjort lead and you stay. Brat. Oh well. I'm still in one piece.
