Glad those that are here were able to get in and post.
Good to see that Harriet could check in.
I've been knitting.
Did some watering and weeding too.
Made a Tuna San. for my dinner.

Re: Winning Wed. PWYC
I'm glad we did our traveling today. This evening, they are opening all flood gates on two dams that will result in many roads down river from the dams being blocked off because of water. The city we were in today will be divided by the flood water. It will take an additional 30 mile of travel to go around the flood waters. We are in a flood warning until Monday.
DS16 called to ask if he could take a 2nd job. He explained his plan to be able to juggle everything. I asked some questions and he is doing research to find the answers. I want to be DS16 biggest cheerleader and supporter in his doings, but I also want him to leave plenty of time to enjoy his teenage years.

Re: Winning Wed. PWYC
I'm in -- for some reason here at home on the desktop, I have to use the Chrome browser, but that's no problem. This is the first time I have tried on the desktop today, so I don't know if I would have had problems earlier or not.
LadyM, your ds is just really amazing. Good luck to him managing all his different things. (And to you and LordM, just trying to keep up with him.)
I wish I had just half of that kind of energy.
I was also so glad to see Harriet pop in to let us know she was okay.
I told on Facebook that I've just been really lazy the last couple days, anyway, so I really have nothing to post except some of my misgivings and stupid things I'm doing.
I purchased a $27 journal that is supposed to have prompts and help a person get over emotional -- something -- but I don't know if it's what I need or not. It's more about getting over an ex, I think, (which y'all might say I need also, in addition to grief) and the site is VERY hard to navigate. Plus every time you look at it, it wants you to purchase something more. I sent them an email and told them I was having too much trouble with my computer to download the actual journal anyway and I am hoping to get a refund. Sheesh. I wish I could stop myself before I do stuff like this.
I'm also debating downloading a bunch of planner pages, "anchored women" is the site where these are located. It's a huge planner collection with all kinds of printouts -- but I don't like having to print all that stuff anyway, you know? So why am I even thinking about that? It's $7/month or $70 for a one-time payment.
I'm afraid I'm sorta like dmom's friend who was a bit agoraphobic (like myself, to be honest) and who stayed up all night and slept all day (like myself, yes) and she said she ordered so much stuff from tv that she was on a first name basis with the UPS man.
This was years ago. I might add, this lady was OG's first wife.
Anyway -- I don't know if they will refund the $ or not. I may have already downloaded the journal to my phone, but I don't really want it there. I wanted it on the desktop so it would be easier to read. If they don't send me a refund, I guess it's a good lesson learned.
OH -- and I have ordered a $30 vitamin supplement. I may be losing my mind. I used to laugh at dh for being so susceptible to advertising... smh...This is FIRST DAY Women's Daily Supercharge gummies. What caught me was the FB ad that said, "Your laziness is NOT normal." I'm going to try it 30 days. If I don't notice any significant change, I will not re-order, although some reviews say it takes 3 months to see change.
I did go to church tonight. Took dgd with me; dgs still having stomach trouble. I asked him if I could bring him anything, and he asked for Gatorade, so I took him 4 different flavors.
I enjoyed the Bible Study -- we are watching "House of David." Talked a lot about dh with some friends at church, laughed... came home, sat on the patio and cried. I'm just having some trouble facing the fact that I'm entering a new year without him, and how different my life is and will always be from now till God calls me home. I don't really WANT to move "forward," I just want to have my old life back.
I'm going to try to get my teacher group minutes typed and send those out.
Tomorrow -- dmom's doctor's appt (orthopedic doctor for shoulder pain) and maybe a ballgame for dgs * if he feels better and * if we don't get LadyM's flooding, which IS predicted here.
I may see if dmom and I can go by the dermatologist office also. They don't do walk-ins, but I would like for the nurse or someone to look at the back of my knee, where the doctor sprayed a mole 3 weeks ago. It is still a big red spot there. But as I look at it right now, it is feeling smoother; maybe I should give it another week or so.
Good night -- I hope I didn't depress anyone, just kinda keeping a "journal" here for myself on how I'm doing.
Hope you all have a great day tomorrow!

* I found the download for the journal, and I may be able to make use of it. (Sent a disregard refund request email). Day One prompt was about recognizing your "inner dialogue" and realizing that it has a lot to do with how you act and how you feel. "its power to shape my reality." Hmmm...
* I typed the minutes, but I will need to text group vice-president tomorrow and see what the lady's name was who is the principal at this alternative school, and put that into the minutes. She was our "tour guide."
* I looked up some financial stuff for ds.
* Also today, I worked on the other organizational binder that I printed and filled in the financial pages with due dates for bills and approximate totals for bills, along with noting which are auto-pay, e-pay, etc. Finances have been kinda troublesome the last few months, but I have finally paid the last of the four payments for football tickets (dbil has already given me his half; it all comes out of my credit card) and I have paid the last payment for dh's tombstone, and in March I had the ceiling and floor repair, and in April, I paid the IRS and the accountant. Those were all pretty hefty payments, and out of the ordinary things, not normal monthly payments. Of course, every month, there's something, it seems, but I'm glad those things are done.
