Re: Tuna Salad Tuesday @ TDD - C&C
Good night, L.Ann. Carpet installation sounds exciting.
I have been working on getting access to the govt web site that allows me to apply for my pension.
I think that I have taken one step forward.
Tuesday
Called the Absent Line at work to tell them that I’m not well and won’t be in.
Put on pot of coffee
Filled breadmaker
No flour canister
Went through the bin of dry food to find the oldest flour
Dog rejected the hydrolysed protein food as reward for using pee pad
Opened the last container of Go! And set up plastic container for it.
Earned dog’s approval
Set up/filled flour canister
Worked on filling breadmaker
Dog pooped. Cleaned up after dog:
Washed part of the floor
Went toward the bathroom for supplies, found myself in the kitchen with the canisters in chaos.
Reorganized the canister corner to put away the flour.
Found a plastic container of very cool “okra chips” that I had forgotten about. They are whole okra, prepared like potato chips. Ate some.
Saw the breadmaker, waiting for yeast.
Went toward the computer to look up the amount. Saw the peepads.
Cleaned up after dog and put down fresh pee pads.
Went around turning on fans.
Came toward computer, couldn’t find coffee cup.
Went to kitchen for coffee cup/coffee, saw the breadmaker.
Came back toward the computer.
Tested the air conditioner fan: does not turn on. Not necessarily a problem; it probably just needs a reset or the plugs checked.
Sat down with cup of coffee
Updated list.
Oh, for pete’s sake! I just got a call from my supervisor claiming that I never showed up for work and never called in. No Call No Show is a serious breach in a call centre environment. It can be used as a part of terminating an employee for cause, which denies them access to unemployment programs. So I called them back and told them the exact time that I called the Absent Line. But they have found a way to make my day off stressful.
My supervisor called back and I told him that I can send him a screenshot of my call to the Absent Line, which he said would be very helpful. He also asked me to call them a second time.
Called the Absent Line.
Got a screenshot showing both calls.
Saved it to the cloud.
Picked it up on my computer.
Emailed it to myself at work.
Signed into the work computer and emailed my supervisor.
Finished filling the breadmaker and started it
When it beeped, added some vegetable flakes, taking inspiration from Gma’s onion/cheese recipe.
Spiffed self
Cleaned up after dog
Took dog for walk
Took out bread and set it out to cool
Put away the dry laundry
Put away drying rack
Bagged dirty laundry
Sampled the bread
Walked dog
Tried to get eye drops into her eyes.
Tried to log into government web site in order to bring up the information to call the back: went into error
Went back to the govt site and successfully applied for an access code. Now we wait.

Re: Tuna Salad Tuesday @ TDD - C&C
I believe that you can only be on observational status for 23 hours. If it is more than that, it is an admission, and it goes back to the actual time of admission, but possibly doesn't include time in the ER. That can be tricky, if in the ER because there is no patient room available. I don't know if that is Medicare policy or the policy of the hospital where I worked.
doggedly, that's a really full day! YGG for showing them that you did indeed call in!
I'm ready for bed time! (well, have to do bedtime routine)
What a full day, taking care of Tutsi!
3 eye medications, each at least 5 minutes apart, total 6x = 18 medication events, just for her eyes! Plus 3 oral liquids, plus 3 pills = 24 meds total
And fed her 5x, as her appetite is small. She did eat an entire DQ hamburger for mother - And I spent 4 hours there, so they could bond. I think mother holding her very ddog is healing for both of them.
So, it's bedtime, and I'm tired! And need to start it all over tomorrow.
Other than that, I got my summer tires put on the car, showed mother's basement apartment, probably have it rented, to move in on Saturday! assuming that the cleaning lady comes on Thursday, did some banking, and took the garbage and recycling out.
