Bama, glad your turkey will have company :)

trissie, Yes, we each have different standards. DSyounger has wonderful InLaws, they used to pick up their kids every Friday night after school and have them spend the night over - not sure they still do it weekly now, but they did for years. As for me I would never let MIL collect my kids from anywhere, so that's settled. And my Mom is 5 hours away. I envy your rhubarb, and Feathers'. MrNG said he would find a plant and plant one as he knows I love rhubarb. But right now he's trying to find room for all the plants and it's Tetris so I will wait. He was given 6 artichoke plants earlier in April and 2 survived, and artichokes too were a bit of a dream plant, so...

L.Ann I'm interested in the cooking program too. I know you enjoy cooking your meals, so...

helia so far my exercise was doing a few races with DS6 (or he would stay indoors all day), on one foot, to the mailbox and back, and also a throwing contest. I got a pair of cross training rings (gymnastics rings ?) for my birthday and MrNG put them on this past week so I want to look online for exercise I can do with them, so I can do a variety of moves and not harm myself by dong too much of one move ;) . The kids enjoy hanging from them.

Managed to keep DS6 entertained (while MrNG was napping) with a board games tournament and then some outdoors races and challenges. Now a break.

TADAs
lunch cooked and served and cleaned up
small sewing thing on DS6's new black shorts
bit of exercise

TODO
more exercise
enjoy the day, enjoy the time away from work
time for letter to DF J-- ?
weekly list to review, next week's list to make
MrNG will drive DS9 back home, MrNG will cook dinner
larger sewing project to adapt two large sheets on our couches for washable covers - sew little ribbons at corners to tie them on -> tomorrow evening?

Have fun in the yard, Bama. DD32 is making oatmeal banana pancakes, Trissie. I don’t think she will eat them but at least I only had to buy 2 bananas. She enjoys cooking with the group and it is hard to find recipes that can be made safely by a group of people with disabilities in an hour on zoom!

1-make lunch
2-move furniture back into the dining room
3-kitchen clean up

4-walk

Menus
Sunday-chicken and garlic tahini farro salad
Monday-sheet pan Cajun salmon with sweet potato and asparagus
Tuesday-chicken grain bowls
Wednesday-DD32 out/leftovers me
Thursday-pasta
Friday-ground turkey lettuce cups
Saturday-Mexican black bean and quinoa bowls

trissie, I've heard it about rhubarb, Ideally you let it grow big, then you can divide the mass into two, and maybe you grow two rhubabrs, or you give one to someone else. (The same goes with artichokes who can grow little bits at the end of their stems that can start a new plant : good gardeners share their plants). Will you manage to have all the kids' clothes dry and clean before they get smelly ?

L.Ann good luck to your DD on her cooking session !
I remember DNephew9 in Paris having Zoom cooking sessions with my DM during lockdown. Once, they made smoked trout stuffed croissants as appetizers, and the recipe was easy and tasty (with store bought fluff pastry). DNiece9 is Nice also tried the recipe and made a video during the session and all the family got the recipe. I think, to this day it is a favorite recipe in both their families. This video shows how easy it is, but DNephew's recipe also involves spreading some cream cheese and herbs before rolling the croissant.

Went to the park with DS6, then back home, some strength exercise, homework with DS6, both kids showered, me showered. It's been a gorgeous day. MrNG and DS6 had to water the garden, it's the first time it needs it so much.

TADAs
more exercise
enjoy the day, enjoy the time away from work
weekly list to review, next week's list to make
We're all showered, homework done, MrNG fixed dinner

TODO
dinner, cleanup, convince kids to go to bed early
time for letter to DF J-- ?

I hear you trissie! Finding someone you could trust with twins, especially as infants, AND a tot would be really hard even in a city. When do you think you'll feel comfortable leaving them alone without someone watching them?
So glad you got a buddy for your turkey, Bama! Keep us posted on how they get along.
I've never had oatmeal banana cookies, L Ann. Are they good?
Exercises on cross training rings sound like they could be tough, FFB. My trainer has me do some exercises on a similar apparatus -- not rings but hand holds suspended like the rings are. You're a great mom to your boys with all the activities you do with them! Are you cooking with rhubarb?

OK - I've finished some lunch. How did it get to be 2 pm?? It has turned gray. I'm going to do some payroll next and then go for a jog.

Main Goals for Today:
1. Church
2. Finish Exam Prep - tweak AIR Exam and send out for review; create LBBR Exam and send out for review
3. Jog
4. Bubble tea / evening get together with the Cs and dd26?

Next:
- run dw
- payroll: tweak AIR Exam
- payroll: make LBBR Exam

Later:
- payroll: tweak AIR Exam
- run dw; unload later
- payroll: make LBBR Exam
- payroll: update gradelink
- payroll: make practice exam
- JOG
- Mom's change of address cards
- update goodreads
- lists in notebook for next week?
- visit Mom? --I don't need to visit her every day.
- other things on brain dump list?
- dinner: something simple on my own - turkey burger (sorry, Bama's turkeys. . .)
- bubble tea with the Cs + dd26
- duo
- update health apps

TaDas!
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- back exercises
- made the bed
- s2s and self care
- squeegeed and wiped down shower
- church
- WF
- put everything away
- lunch

helia, nowadays I feel it's OK to leave DBD (soon to be 8) at home with DS13 or the twins (12) for an hour or so - actually they have been picking her up from kindergarten (700 yards walking distance through "residential zone") the last two or so years if I was running too late to make it before the closing time, but that was like 10-15 minutes alone time. But the whole evening? Not too confident yet. DBD can be very stubborn and there's the question of her meds...
Frenchie, my rhubarb has a 1x1 meter slot in the veggie garden and it kinda keep moving around in it - it's been there since DS13 was born! Re laundry, a load of darks is already dry, waiting to be folded, a load of lights will be transferred to dryer shortly and the colors will wait on the floor in front of the washer till tomorrow. I can't take any risks! :-)
